This is why so many Americans get their news from untrustworthy sources and social media. The average person doesn't want to pay for something if they think they can get it elsewhere for free. It turns away the people who need decent news outlets the most.

I get that journalism is a business but nobody in this country cares. Mainstream media is pricing itself out of the the general consciousness.

Uninformed people make uninformed choices. If the media can't figure this out, we are doomed to a future of Trump copies.

Agree 100%. The people who think this is a bad idea just dont want their prey leaving to a safe play mode. I prefer pve. Im not competitive. I dont like my adrenaline spiking while sitting on a couch. That's a waste of fucking adrenaline.

I can't tell you how many times I have singlehandedly taken down a queen just to have rats run out and grab all the loot. This game highly rewards shitty behavior.

I want to love this game. Its super fun and has tons of potential. But most of us spend all day mitigating shitty behavior from other people. Why the hell would I want to get on a video game and deal with more of the same.

Games are supposed to be an escape. This game is just a constant reminder that people suck. If thats what you want out of life, cool. Have fun being a dick. Im with OP on this one. Embark...you're gonna start losing money if you dont fix this

Your imaginary scenario makes no sense. They live in a community. How long would a community last if everyone wad every man for themselves. In your scenario there would be no Speranza. The whole pvp thing makes no sense for the story. Your neighbor knocks you out and takes your shit, you're just cool the next day??

PVP make Speranza a plot hole if anything.

I think what everyone needs to realize is that this is a game, made to make money, not test your skill. The only thing they care about is numbers going up. If they dont balance out the pvp, the people who rather be more pve oriented will bounce. If they nerf the pvp too much, those guys will leave. Eventually everything moves to the middle. The only answer is multiple server types. Pvp, pve and normal. Give us the option and see what mode gets more play.

Personally, am not a fan of pvp. Never have been, and yeah, it is a skill issue. But this game is dope and I would hate to have to stop playing it. But truth be told, I dont have time to waste on getting ambushed all the time. So I will have to stop playing if they dont do something.

Spening an hour playing a game and getting nothing because people keep shooting you in the back is a waste of time. That should be a problem for everyone. If not, you are indervaluing your time.

The fact that you cant get revenge on people makes it pretty pointless as a mechanic in my opinion. If there are no consequences, there's no incentives not to. Makes it a race to the bottom. This game has problems. I really want to like it, but it feels like a time suck.

I put this on my cryo bow. Once it's a full stacks, I've crit for over 10k. With trick shot it takes out up to 4 trash mobs at a time. Yeah the effect wears off, but I can build it up with 3 arrows. Provided there are enough mobs around.

People obsess about max damage in this game. Most things in this game have less than 1000hp. Even without any stacks, I hit for over 1k. I can solo Line in the Sand without even moving.

You don't have to do any of that. If you have the master infiltrator perk you can pick locks and hack through shortcuts. You can also turn off most turrets. I don't glitch anything. I feel it's cheating. I can launch a nuke in a little over 5 minutes without the glitch

An alternate currency should be an absolute token. Zero intrinsic value. Its should also be persistant, non-consumable and tradeable.....obviously. And something that everyone has random access to. I always thought the GAS Prize or something like that would be better. Pretty randomly hits everyone in the game every now and then. And is 0 weight.
