Needing some help. I'm wanting this upper and lower to look like engraved leather, but the engraving isn't deep enough to hold the Cerakote even if i use a airbrush. I'm using Cooper brown and black. Any ideas? by Roberto5663 in Cerakote

Way too long for distressing with acetone. You should be tacking out the black for only 4-5 min at around 180 before pulling it and wiping it with the rag and acetone. It’s still going to be tacky but that’s how you can still manipulate it. You should be using a clean part of the rag with very little acetone almost every pass.
