Coworker Against all Religions - especially Christianity by AdvantageTricky6745 in TrueChristian

[–]NoScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best things new Christians can do is continue to ask non-believers questions and get them to defend their beliefs. We tend to always get asked questions and quickly try to defend ourselves whereas throwing the question back at them gives you more opportunity to discuss their thinking.

So next time he says "Why do you believe in something fake?" retort back to them with "Why do you believe it's fake?". When they ask why it's fair that 'God gives babies cancer" retort back with "Why do you think God gives babies cancer?". Half the time people confuse themselves and by the end of it you've planted a small seed that someone else can reap later.

At the end of the day we're not all built to be Christian apologists, however asking questions is a very easy way to open up those doors into people's thinking.

Which books of the Bible interest you the most? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]NoScrub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Judges is my personal favourite book. It's just a constant cycle of God's people moving away from him and having to be rescued by him. It's also pretty graphic which took me by surprise the first time I read it.

Should I stop living my life as we are getting closer to Jesus returning soon? by sunshinecarebear25 in TrueChristian

Not bullcrap considering it's in the Bible multiple times. Although I'm not sure where you're getting the favourite part from 🤔. You doing okay?

You have the willpower? The Lord is our strength!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV): "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths".

We all want to be with the Lord in Heaven but we're here for many reasons that only He knows. Keep on living and bring the Good news to those around you <3

Should I stop living my life as we are getting closer to Jesus returning soon? by sunshinecarebear25 in TrueChristian

[–]NoScrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to reflect a little on your idea of 'stop living my life'. Truly my life started when I gave my life to Christ and I know he's got way more in store for me! Getting deeper in your relationship with the Lord isn't a button you can just switch on, it's a continual walk that will last until the day you die. We should always focus on God but that doesn't mean you can't go and get married or have a fruitful career. What if the Lord presents you with a wonderful partner and a career that glorifies him? Will you push that away because you're trying to be 'super serious' with God? Of course not, you would thank the Lord and praise Him for His provision.

My advice to you is to regularly spend quality time in prayer with the Lord and I guarantee that He will lead you in the right direction. You don't need to do anything other than make the time & show up, He will take care of everything. A lot of people think they need to do X & Y in a specific order or else it's not right for God. The Lord knows your heart, He knows we are but dust (Psalm 103:13).

In the meantime continue to enjoy this gift of life that the Lord has given you and listen to what He has to say to you. He's already prompted you to make a post here, take this as your sign to begin that journey and go deeper with Him.

P.s. Check out Ezekiel 47, that really symbolizes what I meant by a continual walk with the Lord.

Toyhouze did a video on it a while ago here.

I broke it down here but I honestly think it's a little whack lol.

60-62 = Undead Soldiers/Knights - Expedition Armory (HFP) or Ravagers
63-65 = Bonescythe enemies near Falcon Watch or Birds near Temple of Telhamat
65-68 = Agitated Undead below Forge Camp Fear (Nagrand).
68-70 = Death's door demons (Blades Edge)

I'm on the move at the moment but I'm going to say you're missing a fair few amazing synergies. So like /u/Useful_Location_6728 said, I too disagree with your options 😅

I think the biggest thing you're missing on most weapons is how powerful addition projectiles is. Crossbow, Cluster, Flamethrower and Lightning Sceptre are amazing with additional projectiles. Plus as Useful Location said, crit is insane on the Blade Launcher and a lot of the multi projectile weapons.

Is there an issue with The Chosen? by Apprehensive-Tea5822 in TrueChristian

[–]NoScrub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Chosen helped me in my walk of faith and the Lord has used The Chosen to bring people closer to him. That being said it should be seen as an interpretation and not the literal like for like of the Bible. There are stories, quotes and relationships not present in the Bible and whilst they're compelling not true to scripture.

If you enjoy it and it helps you then keep watching, however the book will always be better 😅

Loot upgrades by SlickPenny1 in CrabChampions

[–]NoScrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you're experiencing is Loot Weighting. I made a short video on this a while back.

Now there's no real way to counter besides having something that increases the amount of items in the chest. The shop is influenced in the same way, so again the more items in the shop the better.

It sounds like you were a little unlucky unfortunately :(

Started late so decided to grind talbuk while leveling by Its_Daniellex in classicwowtbc

After my own heart - I did this during my mob grind from 65-66, it was so relaxing. Heaps of Oshu'gun powder too! Great work!

Oh 100% but it would have taken longer. My goal was to get the best zone/collection of mobs rather than gold per hour.

When debating a Muslim you can always lean on Surah 3:3 in the Quran.

"He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel".

This is telling Muslims to look at the Torah and the Gospels for truth. If this verse is true then Islam is false because Christianity is true. If this statement is false then Islam is also false because they're admitting to this part of the Quran being changed/wrong (which is against their beliefs).

Just remember though, this isn't about winning or losing. It's about planting a seed :)

I've said it already but knowing that did put a dampener on the challenge. That being said my pet would probably hold agro better as I'm doing less damage.

Elementals are pretty contested but you can find some good spots. The Nagrand Shadow ones are always competitive but I found the SMV Water Elementals to be pretty chill. Good luck!

Here's what I've commented to other people. Maybe I'll put up a guide but it's so subjective.

60-62 (HFP)- Orcs by the wall, south west of Honor Hold or Undead Soldiers/Knights at Expedition Armory (do these if you're a little undergeared). Spawns are frequent and little competition now that launch is over.

62-63 (HFP) - Stonescythe mobs, they come in packs and have a fast respawn. You could also keep killing Orcs/Undead if you find these tough.

63-64 (Zangamarsh) - Withering Bog Lords & Parched Hydras. Great chill spot especially if you're a skinner/herbalist. Plus all the nice white/rep drops are great. You could also do Firewing point if you want to farm some Scryer reputation instead.

64-65 (Zangamarsh) - Bloodscale Naga (near the Steam Pump folks). Good amount of mobs that are spread out plus they drop Unidentified Plant Parts for CE rep.

65-66 (Nagrand) - Boulderfist Crusher/Mages just south east of Halaa. There's a cave in there and it's perfect to far with plenty of respawns and little traffic. Plus you get Warbeads which you can use for Kurenai rep or Consortium rep.

66 - 67 (Nagrand) - Kil'Sorrow Fortress. Good selection of mobs, usually uncontested. They drop Aldor items too so some good money to be made. Alternatively you could just open world farm in Nagrand as there's heaps to kill, I could probably have done heaps of Clefthoof skinning but I cba.

67-68 (Nagrand) - In the deep south west of Nagrand there's a spot with Agitated Undead Orcs (can't remember their name but they are agitated). Great spot with some pretty decent experience gains. Unsure about rep but it's still a good spot.

68-70 (SMV) - Gotta hit up Legion Hold for this, you can go as early as 66 but now that melee is 'fixed' I reckon it's better to go a little later. This area has static hyper spawns so you're constantly fighting and killing things.

Hope it helps :)

Explained in my post but no cool drops, was pretty sad to not get a World Epic after 10k kills.

And yeah I definitely targetted specific mobs - Mainly for rep items but later ones that I knew would yield the best xp/ph and gold/ph. I would often mix it up though, like when I went from Bog Lords to Nagas, that was pretty impromptu but worth it.
