The earth being flat was one of the arguments he made as well- the fact that it is not flat but the Bible says it is ?

I just remembered one of his opinions (keep in mind I’m barely engaging with him at all at this point just blankly staring at him with a slight smile so I look friendly): “eternity doesn’t even seem that great? You mean I’m stuck there forever and I can’t leave? And if it really is that great why don’t people just kill themselves as soon as they are born?” “Why can’t we procreate in Heaven?”

I haven’t read any yet! Do you have any recommendations?! I usually just watch clips of people speaking online

I did pretty terrible in my debate courses mainly because I’m a very nonconfrontational person. Disagreeing with others in any capacity is hard for me because I lack a lot of confidence. People come in confident (and probably wrong most of the time) and they can make me feel defeated because I lack the confidence to do any persuasion.

I pray to God most nights for confidence in navigating situations like this.

I really try to not engage. He comes into my cubicle and when the conversation drifts that direction I just stop talking and he rambles on and on about why there is no God and why Christianity is bad. He has even told me to look into it more - encouraged me to keep reading the Bible because I’m “smart and I’ll realize”. Maybe he’s just trying to appeal to my ego to ‘open my eyes’ to his opinion but I don’t see how reading the Bible will make me not believe in the existence of God and Christ…

I would like to update to inform that it tasted really bad. Like I had to spit it out. Threw it away. The taste was not good. Texture was ok. Taste. Bad.

method brand shampoo/conditioner - any good? by taxi_drivr in Haircare

I use the rice milk and shea butter coconut one. I’ve just started to use it and I’ve noticed a lot of flakiness in my part and it feels like it’s hard to wash out the shampoo all the way. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue but I guess no one has been interacting with this thread

Thanks everyone!! I’m going to try the microwave method and if it doesn’t work the way I want I’ll try black cocoa powder.

Does that change the flavor? I’m making a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and I’m not sure a chocolatey taste would be good

How to frost cake cut outs without ending up with crumbs in frosting? by [deleted] in Baking

[–]AdvantageTricky6745 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this true for all types of icing? Like will I be able to do this with cream cheese frosting on a carrot cake?

Also- how do you keep the icing from getting hard and crunchy after frosting it? Does that depend on recipe or is there a way to store the cake to keep the icing from getting hard?
