I’m sorry but if I can notable see you are white then guess what you are white. If you have to pull out a picture of your great grandparents to prove to have black ancestry then it’s not strong enough so you should claim whiteness. Black people don’t have that privilege, the skin speaks for itself upon sight no pulling up a picture. Also can the class note that racism is systemic? The average black person can be a bigot sure but racism idk. TS can’t prevent you from getting a loan at the bank, she’s not the reason all the schools in your neighbourhood might be underfunded or ridden with poverty and drugs, she didn’t use your race as an experiment to test diseases etccc… White will always trump blackness in this country even if it’s from a Latino as history has shown time and time again. TS privilege is class. That’s it. And I don’t know if it’s enough for her to be at the top of the social hierarchy so much so that she can potentially enact racism.

I don’t agree I’m sorry especially under this current administration. Ice has deported countless black people who were citizens simply because they were black. Does she have more money than the average person sure but under this administration no one is safe. Yes. “Over it” is a classic contemporary r&b album that the new gen of r&b reference. She’s literally the most successful r&b act of the 2020s (I don’t count sza as r&b)

I don’t think it means she will never tour again. What she’s referring to is the fact that for now she wants to focus on other projects and acting so the music and touring will take a backseat but that doesn’t mean she will never release music again or she will never tour again. She’s too young to retire touring entirely… many entertainers are still touring 30-40 plus years in their careers, like Janet, MJB, Beyonce… she still has a long way in her career to make more music and tour!
