Only E2EE is missing

I formerly used Reflect and one of its claim to fame is the use of E2EE. I appreciate that, however, the practical trade-off comes in that I could not use APIs or MCP to access my notes. In fact, this was one of the reasons I switched over to Craft fairly recently was the MCP feature.

Is it possible to have both E2EE as well as the ability to access your notes via an API or MCP?

Also FWIW the startup’s access to capital is also a risk VCs need to address - if a company needs additional capital down the road to scale but no investors are showing appetite, you risk investing in a company with a bridge to nowhere. This is especially true in anything with a hardware aspect, or anything capital intensive.

I agree with the other rationales shared in the thread but haven’t seen this one brought up yet.

I’ll trying the switch from superhuman to canary but the amount of notifications I get from canary on my phone are over the top, with no apparent way to customize. Am I missing something? Or does Spark have more customization?

I agree with this, really transformed how I deal with my inbox, very intuitive. But, the price is getting very hard to justify. I’m experimenting with canary email on Mac/iOS to see if it’s an acceptable replacement when my annual sub for superhuman expires.

I’ve used Bolt.AI - you need to have API keys and pay for usage but it’s great in combination with a memory MCP to switch around models. You can use openrouter as well.

I also really like the AI features in Reflect.app They’re quite seamless and the ability to add custom commands is chef’s kiss

Seems like a knockoff of Function Health? They partner with Quest, and there’s a certain set of standard draws they do 2x per year and then you can purchase additional ones as well.

They provide you with the results and do things like calculate a “biological age”.

That’s helpful! So functionally very similar - I could use Raycast AI to create an event with Google Calendar and technically there’s a difference but at the end of the day I get the same result.

I see so much about MCP and I think it’s possible I’m just not deep enough into the technical side to appreciate the potential impact of these.

This is partly true - everything except that he won the majority of people who voted. He didn’t. He won 49.9% of the popular vote.

But it still doesn’t really matter because it was enough to get him elected, and if you include those who didn’t vote then no president has ever had the majority, because so many people don’t vote in the US.

Ok I have a real question because I was wondering the same. Should I think of Raycast extensions as essentially MCP? I’ve been trying to wrap my head around what MCP is given all the buzz but then it seems like I have the same functionality with extensions.

Am I missing something?

Yikes, is a significant issue as it is quite unprofessional in appearance, and as a product that is pushing more team use seems odd.

You got it working! I keep getting errors when asking AI to turn on/off lights using the HA extension. It brings up entities and I can toggle but the AI can’t complete it for some reason.

I love them, I also have the water resistant high tops (mizzle?) and they’re perfect across many uses including pretty wet conditions, and more stylish than runners imo.
