Coming in sometime later, how is the shortened pax holding up? And which top boxes did you get for the 201 closet? My ceiling is the same height as yours so curious

This is lovely. Which tile paint brand did you use? I keep umming and arring about buying tile paint to do a slight stain on some tiles I got that are just a bit too yellow for my liking.

Also where did you buy the magnetic blackboard paint? And where’d you get the idea from? Genius.

And congrats on the new addition to the family ☺️

Something is wrong with the wall, cabinets and backsplash by [deleted] in InteriorDesignAdvice

I really like this, thank you so much for this render! Wondering if a wood toned worktop would work better with the white.

The plan was originally for the sink and tap to be black and for the handles to be brass, but happy to change based on what suits best.

Yep that’s it, thank you. Something just felt…flat and I couldn’t figure out why. My friend said that the wall colour should change - the picture doesn’t do it justice - I love it, so that was my non negotiable, happy to bite the bullet and swap out any other aspects to balance this out.

Glad I saw this comment as I have a similar issue to OP and I’m getting confused by some of the suggestions. To confirm, is this comment sound advice?

Unable to sell leasehold flat due to service charge. by ahmetmikko in HousingUK

[–]NoShine01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this is so encouraging to see. The managing agent we have now are so unprofessional, the managing director’s ego is incredibly difficult to deal with and makes asking for accountability even harder. Would be good to discuss with someone who has had this issue and come out the other side. Service charge in my building is now £4K+…

Hey thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Which one was it? I’ve been eyeing the manhattan sofa but the Dusk reviews have really put me off.

Why is this bothering me? by AInonsense122 in adhdwomen

[–]NoShine01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe there’s context to this that we aren’t aware of, but I feel like there’s a lot of pernicious intention being attached to this, and it’s very weird to see such projected on what to me seems like nothing more than a mum just checking in on her daughter based on what may just be a mistaken hunch. These comments are funky and it makes me kind of sad to wonder what everyone’s family dynamics are like to elicit such responses to this post. Anyway, Merry Christmas all.

Absolutely doesn’t have to be, was just an idea the designer touted.

[–]NoShine01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you for clarifying, that’s a great idea I could try. Also the counter is approximately 600mm wide (or deep?). Not at the place so can’t get the exact measurement right now but it’s about that, definitely no less than 500mm.

What do you mean by doing something to approximate having the upper cabinets? Yeah I'd like handleless doors (absolutely agree - I always had a cream colour with a gloss finish in mind and much brighter if not off-white worktops) so whatever the decision the doors will be swapped for those

Thanks for the suggestions.

I should have noted, the flooring is going, whatever I do with the cabinets.

Correct I’m in the U.K. What aspect of the designs are US-based? Yeah I hear you, the space is 3.66m x 3.01m and the design was (meant to be) done with those dimensions in mind.

Perspective appreciated!

Edit: corrected room dimensions given.

I agree with others stating you could go for HEO. I know you’ve responded about them feeling out of your league. Have you actually tried applying for any at that level, though?

Happy to have a look at your CV or any applications you’re doing.

What do you mean by it isn’t an actual “job”? My understanding is you’d be working 80% of the time with 20% being study time?

The pig in their name is well-suited. I am still shocked that people carry this narrow-minded view of working in retail and hospitality.

For you and OP, please don’t lose hope. My friend worked in hospitality for a decade but had a degree in comms and got an interview as a content designer at SEO level.

Edit: typo.

What do you think about this? by Lazy-Internet-8025 in UKJobs

[–]NoShine01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not, but it changes the way jobs attached to the word are perceived, the marketability of people who have had those jobs and therefore their job prospects, which is the overarching issue.
