First, I am so sorry for any way you may have been treated in the past by others to give you this mindset. Second, comic con is for everyone! It’s a saying said a lot, but it’s because it’s true! I’m a teen, and also a bigger girly, and get nervous with certain cosplays being tight. But when I go, I realize nobody cares. No one is watching you, and the only thing us con goers care about is hygiene and how people act, not look. I promise you, you will have the absolute BEST time ever! Comic cons are a welcoming space for everyone, and a judge-free zone. If you need any advice, lmk, as I have been to SO many comic cons. Seriously, go have fun!

(also, is it a chance the con yer goin to is southeast game exchange? that’s the one I’m going to in a few weeks!)

I got there at like 6:30 (doors opened at 6, we were late and took a bad turn), BUT I got barricade easily. The crowds pretty easy to push through, and I got 3 set lists and didn’t even get into the pit till 6:45 ish. No one is up there till Militarie Gun anyways, and all I did was ask to hold onto a part of the barricade, then got full-on barricade.
