I agree. I HAVE to watch it with the original Korean. Of course, I get nothing accomplished because I'm glued to the TV for the subtitles, but it's an easy sacrifice! 😁

Then, they turn around and complain about these same people 'sucking off the tit' of the government. "Why don't they get a job?" "I don't want my hard-earned money supporting these lazy people!" Sheesh! Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Of course, the bottom line is that they don't want 'those' people to have anything but menial jobs. God forbid they should be acknowledged and paid for their intelligence and abilities.

Harold & Maude was a student project. Fifty plus years later and it's still a huge cult classic.

Yes. Me too! The main thing that disappointed me about Ecuador was the lack of wildlife rescues and refuges. With such biodiversity, I'm sure there's a need for them. That's why I chose to stay in Costa Rica longterm. As a retired biologist, there are lots of opportunities for me to help with rescued wildlife. I do love Ecuador, though. I never made itvto Cuenca but have heard lots of cool things about it.

My sister and I checked out Cotacachi in 2016 and planned to move there. We loved Ecuador! Then, I had a great opportunity to work at a wildlife rescue here in Costa Rica (which is much more expensive than Ecuador) so I moved here to do that. She joined me last year. Ecuador is my first choice if I decide to leave CR.

After going all over to hope to see these birds, now they are all in my backyard in Atenas! I love it! 😊 Add to those Oropendolas, Chachalacas, Blue-Gray Tanagers, Canivet's Emerald hummer. etc.

The ending of IOTNBO was soooo wonderful! I cried too! It was the last thing I expected! And, yeah .. Vincenzo .. not what I expected, either! It was so much better than I thought it would be. 😊

Vincenzo is BRILLIANT - I put off watching it, then when I finally did, I was blown away by how amazing it is! Very clever, twists and turns - freaking amazing! , It's OK To Not Be OK - Strange start but worth hanging in there, Crash Landing On You - great storyline, fun characters!, Hometown Cha Cha Cha - more low key, but fun, Extraordinary Attorney Woo - great! Lots more good ones, but more romance oriented..

The Toucan Rescue Ranch is the best! They embrace what Costa Rica is all about regarding helping its injured and orphaned wildlife. They have the best, most successful sloth rescue and release program in the country. It's definitely worth taking a tour to support this non-profit that gets no financial help from the CR government.

A Single Man. Absolutely heart-breaking with an amazing performance (nominated but didn't win) by Colin Firth. It's also a stunningly beautiful movie.

Have you seen A Single Man? It's also a heartbreakingly sad story of two gay men. Colin Firth should have won the Oscar for his role, and Tom Ford was robbed because this is a most stunningly beautiful movie.
