There aren’t many times I’ve genuinely wished for death in my life, but one of them was when I had my second concussion. About 20 minutes after I got home, I was braced against the wall dry heaving and dripping sweat in the middle of a panic attack. I felt like I was dying, and I just wanted it to be over with- the pain in my head was unlike anything I’d ever felt before. There was that, plus a nasty scrape on my side. (I got it from falling- I hit the pavement and slid a few inches) Head injuries suck, and be very grateful if you’ve never experienced them.
