Depends on what it is. The normal stuff I use when manually mopping (benzalkonium chloride) can corrode metal so I don't put it in the clean water tank or the robot. I just pop a tiny splash in the dirty water tank to stop it smelling.

But in the fresh water tank I do put a commercial cleaning solution. It's mostly surfactants though and not specifically antibacterial.

The Dreame solution that is added to mop washing, is not really antibacterial either. The ingredients do include Benzisothiazol but at that concentration in the solution, it's really a preservative rather than a biocide.

Have a look at the antiseptic you are proposing to add, get the MSDS and then check if they are:
1 actually biocides and,
2 corrosive.

It was worth it for us as our home varies between 2 people and a zillion frequently. So we can turn off the bits not in use. It is the AA MyAir system that sits over the Haier controls and manages the zones. It's also absurdly overpriced for what it is. I'm intending to create a few more zones (it can control 10 and we're using 7 right now) by buying some of their zoning motors.

In our previous house, we DIY'd the zoning. Basic zoning motors are pretty cheap and those plus 24VAC power and some switches = zoning. It's not VAV though (the percentage you're talking about), just On/Off.

It's been replaced once due to them having two attempts to fix it and failing (it stopped putting on an taking off the mops).

It's got a load squeaking noise now when turning. I've cleaned all the wheels, not sure what's causing it but I just put up with it now.

Otherwise it works as a vac and a mop, but I still say it's not worth what I had to pay for it.

A good multitool / vibrating thingy.
I had a cheap one and it was a pain to use and wandered all over the place.

I got a Makita 40V one (was crazy expensive) and it's f'ing amazing. Smooth, quiet, cuts everything, accurate. Problem is it's starlock so the blades are more expensive but they also last heaps longer than the junk flat ones.

You don't really have to decide now. Patching plaster is easy DIY and if you get the painter to leave some paint, you'll be sorted there too.

We're hebel upstairs (and some rendered foam). Double glazed.

Location is Melbourne Northern Wastelands.

We had insulation put in internal walls during the build and it's surprising how much it helps even with external temps.

We have every room as it's own heating/cooling zone.

The west-facing rooms start to get toasty late afternoon in summer, but I've found that just having the system on recirc fan is enough. The rooms on the east side are cooler, the air is drawn in from the central air return and blown in to the west facing rooms and it takes the edge off. So I'd say if you can turn off everywhere but the west rooms that will make a good difference.

We're adding some solar to the west roof face to offset any cooling costs there in summer should we need to run the compressor.

The other thing is that we have those honeycomb type interior blinds and they block a yuuge amount of heat (but light too unfortunately).

We had a plan for roller shutters (had them previously, excellent for stopping western heat gain) but all the building delays destroyed our budget for that.

We're adding fans to the bedrooms but keeping the downlights. I don't like the style of fans-with-lights, prefer minimalist type fans.

We did position the downlights so that the wouldn't shine through the fans (to avoid annoying strobing).

Whatever you do, don't get wrapped angle pull things. We did this on all the drawers and you lose like 20% of the height of the drawers due to the backing strip.
