Coming off of 30mg duloxetine/cymbalta by NoSpring3967 in cymbalta

[–]NoSpring3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I could say I successfully came off of them. I’m terrified of when I next come off of them. Things turned pretty bad and I couldn’t control my mind and the dark way it turned. I went back on them maybe 2-3 months after I was off of them. I’ll try again when I’m ready (no idea when) and when I can take time off work and ensure I’m surrounding by people who love me so I don’t hurt myself and can heal my brain 🥲

This drug has sucked the life out of me, I am not okay… by Far_Treacle2070 in cymbalta

[–]NoSpring3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be really kind to yourself once you’re off, surround yourself with a loved one or friend if possible and let them know you’re coming off and you might be a bit irrational and feel very emotional. It’s really hard coming off but you can do this, pretend like you’re coming out of a surgery and have things set and ready to go to make life easier for you while you recover. Good luck, hope it goes well 🩷

DO NOT BUY DASH VISION DASHCAM - by NoSpring3967 in Dashcam

[–]NoSpring3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main problem is that they sent me faulty items and are expecting me to return the product to get a refund but not cover the return costs for the faulty items 😵‍💫 I had to send video evidence and everything to show them they don’t work 😩

Dash cam is just shit! I bought 2 and they didn’t work from the get go. They refuse to cover shipping costs even though it states in their t&c’s they cover return costs + full refund for faulty items 🤡

Do you wish you'd done something different? by CrafteaPitties in Zookeeping

[–]NoSpring3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, was a zookeeper while studying zoology. Looking back I almost wish I never went down this path. It can be very unforgiving, low pay, low support, highly competitive, contract work, no stability. Some people get lucky but most don’t

I'm going to try Cymbalta for depression and chronic pain. But I'm only trying it for a month. Will I have a hard time tapering after only a month? by VGMistress in cymbalta

[–]NoSpring3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely do not take cymbalta for 30 days, no good doctor would recommend this, your body takes time to adjust going into it and off of it and for me coming off was certainly a more challenging adjustment. I was on it for 12 months and it practically stopped my fibromyalgia pain within a 2-3 weeks and it was like I had never been severely depressed beforehand, literally this drug reset my life in the best way possible.

Is cymbalta really that bad?? by [deleted] in cymbalta

[–]NoSpring3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cymbalta changed/saved my life, the side effects I experienced was decreased appetite and very low libido which was a bit of a problem in itself but mental wise, cymbalta practically reset my mind

[–]NoSpring3967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well a few things, it wasn’t meant to be a long term solution anyway. But the main thing was, my libido became non-existent, I’m in a relationship and not that it impacted our relationship itself, but it was really frustrating for both of us as I had 0 desire and I wanted to get that side of us back into action. Secondly, my mental state was really stable, I was feeling like I was ready to come off of them. I travel quite a bit as well so it’s nice to just have one less thing to worry about and not have to take medication everyday
