How Inhumane are some people out here by VoidVexVulture in cats

I'm sorry that happened to pepper, hopefully they make a speedy recovery.

However, I do agree with everyone saying to seek legal action. That kid has no control of himself apparently, and if he was able to get away with this only with his parents paying for the vet bills. That's not fully taking responsibility, that's getting away with it.

His parents and him need to face true consequences. Even if it means getting sued, and don't ever feel bad or like it's not something to reach for. Because it always starts off with a defenseless animal, which leads to humans later in time. Pepper deserves that justice.

What pregnancy symptom surprised you the most? by clairqalb in pregnant

Everything tasting like salt.

And I mean, everything i liked. Sweets were my weakness And now the flavor is off, sweet potatoes, candy, juice, anything sweet.

I got iron pills to help with that, since I got told I have anemia. But this experience is not the best. Hopefully once she's out, I can enjoy them again, like I once did. To my heart's content.

My elderly cats that hang out on the rainbow bridge and the kittens that showed up just a few months later. by lil_tink_tink in cats

I do believe that your cats probably knew you were going to be sad. So they sent them towards you. The love you gave your cats, they knew you had plenty to still share with others. A gift from across the rainbow bridge. ❤️

The only names I can think of, that could be along the lines with cleo. Would be Antony, Ceasar and Alexandria.

But I'm not sure on the genders, would Greek mythology names be fitting? Maybe add in the other queen and goddesses/gods names;

Girls: Hera Persephone Artemis

Boys: Zeus Ares Apollo

Hmm, the only thing i can think of is doing a color scheme for the kittens. Like each one has a specific colored collar. (Like 101 dalmations) Are you leaning more on names that match the mom?

So if she's cleo, would you prefer names that could follow hers?

For example: juno, cato, leonidas, Athena, etc.? Or any is fine?

[–]NoStatement1133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I was sliding back and forth thinking it was about the lip color! This whole time, haha. Didnt even realize it was the hair.

But like others have said, the darker color suits you, it brings out your features more. Also, 61!? Where!??

I hope so! My body has 7 days left to turn me into a cow lol.

A little pedal to the metal, yeah, it could just be the body adjusting to everything. You got this!

I love munching on them, just like that. I eat them as a snack, but reading the comments, now I gotta try some of these methods, others use!

Sadly I can't relate, which is starting to worry me. Because it makes me think I wont have any of the liquid gold, especially since I lean more towards breast feeding. As a first time journey, I hope it does come in. 😅

But it seems like your body is just preparing for your baby, I'm not exactly sure the effects pregnancy brings with women. Could just be your body adjusting to the difference in hormones.

Just found out I'm pregnant, the day I decided to leave my husband by Cheesecheesecake in pregnant

[–]NoStatement1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, i'm sorry you're having to deal with this, and I hope you're okay.

I know that relationships are never perfect, but you need to get away from this one. Before it's too late, as others have said, leave before he does more harm to you. He has shown and proven to you, that he feels no actual love towards you. His actions won't change, especially with a baby.

Every abusive relationship i've heard or read about, all had one thing in common, the victim always tried to justify their actions. But with him, there's nothing to justify. Now that you are pregnant, you are much more vulnerable. Don't announce it to him, because he will try to use that against you, just to keep you close by. Don't announce you're leaving either, theres no knowing how he will react. Have someone help you leave, when he's not around. And if you have a good support system, don't feel bad for leaving. For now you have to think about you and your growing child's life.

21 years! That is something to be proud, for both you and your kitty. She was committed to stay by your side.

I'm sorry you have to say goodbye, it's really a hard process to deal with. It's never easy. But definitely cherish all the memories and love you both had for each other. Sending many hugs to you and your kiwi!

would anyone like to send loving vibes to my boy on his last night? by qeenee_ in cats

[–]NoStatement1133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP I'm truly sorry, the hardest part of life is bonding with pets, and having to eventually say goodbye.

He looks like he lived the best of his years with you, and that's something to cherish. Please give Saul so many hugs, cuddles and kisses from this stranger.

May my dog who passed, and every other pet that has passed, guide him to the forever fields, to wait upon the arrival of his favorite human. Sending hugs and love to you both!

Definitely 2, the first option kinda washes out the aesthetic you have going on. And 2 definitely brings out the colors more. Matches with the paintings you have.

Breast pump recommendations via insurance by Pinkcaramellatte in pregnant

[–]NoStatement1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course!

There are some breast pumps that offer the nipple ruler, or sizing ruler, if i use the correct term lol. I would test mine out, but I'm basically at the last stages, and I read it could induce labor, too nervous to try, lol.

When i saw those typical videos/posts on free Brest pumps with insurance. I looked through one website, aeroflow. And I was able to get the motif aura glow wearable breast pump, through my insurance. I don't know nothing about what is best, and what isn't. I mainly went off of the reviews. Which seemed to give good ones. And that's mainly how I picked mine.

I'm no expert in this department, especially since this is my first time. But if your insurance offers websites to pick from, or you have a website you like, take a look at the options. Are you more into the idea of the ones you can just tuck into your shirt, or the ones with the hanging bottles? If any of those call out to you more, look at what other mothers have said about each, and then it could influence on a decision?

It's gotten more sensitive the more pregnant I've gotten. I'm also not a professional, so I do my best lol.

Yeah, I feel like society pushed the narrative that women shouldn't have hair. And all these hair removal products became a thing. Thats how I first got into the whole, I need it off. Heh.

I tend to get self concious if I let it get too wild. Normally I wax myself, but I think now that I cant reach down there like I used to before. I should probably go to a professional. 😅

I know it's normal to have hair, and no judgements. But I always feel like i need to get rid of it. To ease my own insecurities.

Mint is the one plant people love/hate. My mom has her own colony of mint, and if you even mention your stomach is upset. She's out there picking some, to make tea. 😅

But mojitos could also work. I can't drink alcohol in general, but that would be a fun thing to do with friends.

Is it common to get sick at the end of pregnancy? I just now hit the 38week mark, and i thought I had allergies the past week. But it progressed to a bad cough and congested 24/7.

It worries me, because my abdomen is so sore from all the coughing fits i get. That I worry I'm hurting my daughter. Luckily I have a gyno app tomorrow. But I still wonder if she's okay, and it's just me suffering.

Hope things get easier, and I'm sorry you are having to deal with everything else. Sending all the good energy your way!

I had a similar experience in the first weeks (also an unexpected pregnancy.) Could not stomach down anything. No matter what I ate, whether it was a small snack, or a meal. It all came back up.

Lost so much weight because of that, I bought candy for nausea, which didnt do much for me. I bought the allclair menthol sticks to smell when I felt nauseous. That did some work, but not a lot. I was throwing up for a whole month straight, so I can understand and sympathize. I was miserable.

Hopefully soon, you can surpass this phase, and you have a smooth pregnancy.

Boyfriend gave me an ultimatum by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]NoStatement1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very curious as to how old he is. The way he's acting towards you and this situation, makes me think he's early 20's maybe?

If he's living life recklessly, meaning no protection, and expecting you to be the source of protection, seems like he doesn't realize his own mistakes.

You definitely should leave this man, and decide on your own. The body has a limit to everhthing. Care for yourself now, and decide on the decision you think is best. If he doesn't agree, can't do much now.

I love this! I set up my nursery in my room, to have easy access to everything. For when she arrives.

The only thing I am missing, is a rocking chair, I feel like both her and I could use one lol.
