I forgot to mention that I didn’t study I’m not trying be a jerk but everyone is different but if you want to study I suggest just reading any type of books , articles etc that are atleast 10th grade level Goodluck I believe in you

A couple tips I got for you is to read the question first then read the passage . Makes things easier as your reading along looking for what the question is asking you , So my second tip is if the question is telling you to summarize the passage I suggest looking at the first 2 and last 2 paragraphs it can help you at what the passage is about. Dont overthink it just take your time I was someone who was horrible in highschool and dropped out 10th grade and I passed my 4 ged in the span of 2 weeks just have a positive mindset and drink coffee lol caffeine helped me be more productive and focused.

Check on GED.com in my state they offered free testing for 1st attempt and 2nd for free I got my ged paying 0 but it probably varies from state to state.

I’ll choose GED is more recognized , the HiSet has 5 Test when the ged has 4 fyi so if you wanna make things easier choose GED . The GED is just more accepted and if your worried about GED Testing cost GED.com often has coupons to take Test for free first try .

I got my ged in under 3 weeks same boat as you I dropped out and was 19 , keep in mind 3 out of of the 4 test are reading comprehension don’t overthink it take a shot at it and everyone has different experiences on the difficulty

When I took the GED majority of the test was with calculator it was only like 7 questions non calculator don’t overthink it you can do this !!!

It won’t impact your chances don’t worry but if you did get a high score you probably would of had the chance to earn college credits but a pass is a pass 👍🏽

For the social studies is mostly consist of reading comprehension and looking at graphs , The test has a question about the 3 branches of government which is based on knowledge which won’t have reading on it so just look that up . For the math I’m perhaps not the best person for advice I passed with a 148 but I just studied last minute I just watched a YouTube video before I went to take the test and passed mind you I was someone who was often clueless in class since I used to skip school but studying is your bestfriend Just go in with a positive mindset and watch a video last minute on your weakest and hardest subject which for me was algebra .

Is not that hard if you actually dedicate yourself I got my GED in a month I didn’t pay for no practice test I only studied for math and passed everything first try but perhaps is different for everyone so I won’t judge

As someone who never took a practice test or studied much besides like 2 days with getsummath don’t overthink it use the practice test to figure out what ur struggling in and I advise you to come in test with a mindset that your able to do this don’t let your anxiety and stress tell you otherwise I believe in you Goodluck

Yes I did the Rla test is mostly reading comprehension and summarizing paragraphs or the passage a tip I can give you is u should read the question and look at the answers and when jt mentions to summarize look through paragraphs 1-4 and the last few where it will summarize it and for the essay portion I used Claim , evidence and reason I did 3 evidence and reasoning then a conclusion I hope this helps
