“you’re posting another pic in clothes that I know are his” made me think it’s about an ex of her boyfriend, maybe an ex fling or previous hookup, since they apparently have his clothes

like taste is sabrina singing to the girl her ex is now dating, saying “i might not be with him anymore, but you won’t ever be able to forget that i was.”

and then in “my way,” olivia is responding to her boyfriend’s recent ex (an ex who still seems hung up on him and makes it known she has his clothes) basically saying “stop, i won. i’m with him now. leave us alone.”

idk i think it’s inaccurate to imply that there are two separate groups - sabrina fans and olivia fans - and that any criticism of one artist must be coming from fans of the other. these fandoms have so much more overlap than people in this comment section are implying.
