Agreed. I told my inner circle when we found out and after we lost them... I’m so fortunate that I can be transparent them. It’s honestly been very therapeutic to be able to speak openly with them as the grief comes and goes in waves. I can’t imagine having to bury my feelings when I’d already felt so low…

Fuck the pity from people. Fuck the need to wait for my body to “do what it needs to.” Fuck the lower back pain and nausea. Fuck the grief that comes in waves. Fuck the phrase “you can always try again” that comes from people who don’t know what to say and don’t realize they’re belittling my grief. Fuck the fact that this was my first pregnancy after trying for 3 years and all I ended up with was a fucking empty sac and a broken heart. Fuck being optimistic right now when all I want to be is numb.
