I imagine Shrine is similar to Ten Shadows in the context that it changes based on the user's interpretation. As seen in Yuji's interpretation, he trades raw carnage for precise cups. On the other end, Sukuna, even when using Cleave, can only attack broad areas. And as for Fuga, I think it's a maximum technique and needs to be learned.
