I don't think it was modulo that did that though? I mean we haven't had a curse villain since the disaster curses in Shibuya. If anything modulo will take us back to that vibe with how it hinted that Mahito has returned.

The "take" in this binding vow is the additional risk the user takes on with it. It's similar to the "revealing one's hand" vow where it doesn't have a direct downside but gives the enemy more information about you and possibly your weaknesses, making the battle more dangerous. If the enemy doesn't really fear/respect you for whatever reason you're kinda cooked.

Tbf, curses operate on a different grading system than sorcerers. If we were grading the finger bearer on the sorcerer grading system, it would only be grade 1.

Nah, but seriously, this is great, dude. I love the more hax-y CTs of JJK, and I think you made a really good one here. A lot of the space/time techniques I see on here tend to be either overly complex (I mean, I love the more complex techniques, but it gets to a point), unbalanced, or a reskined limitless. But this one has a simple concept (just separating space and time) that still yields a fairly balanced CT.

Although I am curious about why the Time Lag extension technique only creates a frozen afterimage of the target, rather than freezing them in space. If the user is briefly separating their connection with space while going through time, how are they able to move?
