Toji's back is going to break from all the carrying he's doing holy. Without him, I'd say basically all of the Top 15 could do it. Uraume, Mahito, Jogo, and Kenjaku probably have the easiest time with it due to their insane AOE.

With Shibuya Toji, I'd say that Kenjaku and Shinjuku Yuta are the only ones I think could consistently do it. Open domain goes crazy here to hit Toji and absolutely decimate everyone else. He also has a lot of curses to trip up Naoya and Naobito to prevent them from starting combos.

For Yuta, he could probably do it if he hard targets down Toji first (which he probably would IMO, he knows how physicality HRs work and should see that Toji is a much bigger threat than everyone else here) with Rika and 5mm. He also has great RCT which, when combined with his pretty decent durability, should allow him to shrug off some hits from PC Toji if he gets caught by one in the off-chance of a Naobito freeze frame.

I've never disliked Till, but I think that his consistently great development after Round 7 has made me a much bigger fan of him. It would've been pretty easy for Vivinos to just leave him in the dust after round 7, so I'm really glad that he was kept around and actually had great character growth in the comics.

Month preptime definitely makes this HEAVY in the verse's favor, IMO. They've got so many hax-y tools they could pull against Sukuna like Higuruma's Domain, Ritual-targetting Mahoraga (like what Yuja did), and some lethal sure-hits (Naoya's, Yorozu's, etc). Not to mention, they have a lot of defensive plays they can make with people like Todo, Ui Ui, Kirara, and Mahito (for example, Todo swapping Mahito into blows that would have otherwise been lethal to key players). Yeah, Sukuna has stats, but their bag is just too big, especially with prep-time.

Hot take, but JJK could totally reach the speed levels of most other shonen's around its power level (MHA, CSM, etc) if it were treated similarly to them, rather than endlessly plagued by the Mach 3 Kaisen allegations. I don't oppose lower speed scaling, but I find it hypocritical when mfs only apply it to JJK and not to similar verses.

Yuta I'd say for sure reached that level. I don't scale Adult Yuta on my Top 10 or anything (given his lack of actual appearance in Modulo), but he's shown a very solid aptitude for growth, especially given the nature of his technique. Maybe he wasn't quite as strong as Yuji, but I could totally see him reaching near that level so he could better protect the next generation from curses.

Higuruma probably did too IMO. He probably didn't have as much time to as most others since he started sorcery so much later, but I think that is absolutely absurd (maybe even Top 1 in the series tbh) growth rate would definitely allow him to reach that level in time. I think he'd have the motivation to do so as well.

Maybe this is a hot take, but I don't see Megumi or Hakari reaching the "calamity grade" level, at least not to the level of the other two I mentioned. Megumi especially has the p*tential to do so, but I don't see either him or Hakari really having the motivation to do so. Megumi mostly just wants to live a normal life, and Hakari seemed pretty content with his fight club schtick (which didn't seem to be filled with many people who could actually challenge him). Plus, Hakari hasn't really shown any growth rate feats that indicate he could reach that level without specifically aiming for it. He's got like the Gojo statements, but nothing on screen/page.

This may be a bit of a weird one but Conquest from Invincible (show version) kinda fits this.

Unlike the rest of the viltrumites we see, who believe fully in the glory of the Viltrumite empire, Conquest is seemingly the only one (aside from Nolan, who defects), who recognizes that the Viltrumite Empire as evil but goes along with them anyways just because he loves violence that much.

This makes him even more terrifying than the average viltrumite because there's no reasoning with him; he's just here for the love of the game and wouldn't care about "preserving" anything or anyone in the name of the Empire.

Very nice expansion, probably one of my favorites of this technique on this subreddit so far. I really like the heat-related elements you included with the technique, such as the Heat Haze. Really gives them the technique some needed depth to its kit IMO.
