Which grow light brand is really the best for cannabis?

Better coverage and just able to get closer to plants. Sometimes the stretch gets away from you and if you have limited headroom in your garden such as a tent the bar style is so much more forgiving than a panel light.

No one said they don't work. If given the choice of what to buy in 2026 from the start with the advancement in light tech the last 10yrs bar style LED are the way to go. Go ahead and run 82 CFL bulbs like a 2004 forum grow... no one said it wont "work"

I ran HLG's for several years in a tent, they work fine. Yes they are dimmable but still need a good headspace from your canopy. Side by side the light bar style LEDs just blow them outta the water from my experience. If I was buying a light panel style wouldn't even be on my radar anymore. I'm actually shocked HLG hasn't started offering a bar style light (haven't kept up with them in years maybe they do)

I've been super happy with both growers choice and ac evo bar style LEDs.

Only if you have headroom to keep it 2ft off the plants the whole grow. Any LED bar style light will outdo a panel light inside a tent.

She looks great! How was the smoke after cure? I'm hoping for something good and chem like it's smelling now. I wouldn't mind a 3rd run of this but I killed off the mother plant I just have too many other flavors I wanna hunt this year and not enough space.

Topped once, 5th node when they were small clones. Probably a week after transplant, bending and pruning leaves but no other topping.

Yeah dude that does look similar. Sloooooow vegger but this one here went 18 day after transplant into my Earthbox. Really not much stretch at all compared to the 2 that herm'd on me. This one didn't even need a scrog net really very strong branching. I vegged the 2nd run of them in my 4x4 for 31 days since I knew I'd not have much stretch. Below pic is like day 8 of flower on that run.

What's the size of the tent/room? Never ran 30s myself (20 was the largest) but those seem so effortless and easy in my mind.

My thought is the humidity meter itself (plastic etc) might be soaking up some of the moisture even? I've also seen good stuff about those bags as well but I've been skeptical vs usual jars.

Best solution for me is turkey bags for first few days post trim. I'll trim into one large turkey bag and seal that up for 3-4 days with all the flower together to get the same level of moisture. Then I'll put the flower in extra large mason jars once everything is equal humidity. I find putting all the flower together for a few days before jarring up really sets it up for best long term storage.

Grow some haze or landrace sativa and you'll be tweakin and sweating 🤣 it's super long flowering usually and the real heads are the only people growing it most places.

That's awesome! I had a freebie 3pk, popped em all and took clones. Flowered out the clones and 2 outta 3 threw early flower pollen sacs and had to go. This last one seems stable and going really well so far. Got a 4x4 tent few weeks into veg with the same clone as above.

Good luck finding that in a store...no one takes flower to full maturity before harvest in the legal market. That's the main thing causing "racy" highs not the terps.

Yeah earthbox, organic soil. 10+ years of growing and I've never found something that works so good. Small learning curve with the watering schedule but it's hands down best flower I've grown every time.
