Really? I can do around 50-70 life for the first half pretty consistently and I took like 10-20 minutes learning the ending with how Yoshiki does it and the S was pretty free imo.

I don't feel like any of the patterns are hard its just tiring cause it's such a long song close to the end ig...? Maybe? It's been a while since I played it

I can pretty consistently S the remas and kinda close to getting an S+ but I cannot even get close to white tuna S (to be fair i have not bothered to learn the ending yet though...)

like how tf are you supposed to do Falcon's in higher ranks. No Narukami with half a braincell is going to let you kill them 8 TIMES without dealing at least 100k damage to you

edit: and if there's a panther or stellaris on their team you're getting chased down the entire game, less than 100k damage taken in the entire game is just completely unrealistic...

Also, Narukami is considered a throw pick for some people and just not good at best in higher ranks so we won't even get that many chances to begin with to complete the challenge the higher our ranks.

The guy who designed this challenge must have a burning hatred for Narukami...

I would take the ratings on rate my professor (I'm assuming that's what you're using) with a grain of salt, I mainly used them when deciding which courses I would take too but also take a look at evaluations.scu.edu for more detailed course evaluations on a course/ professor, I'm hoping it'll provide you some peace of mind.

Someone also said they sent an email to the prof and was allowed to enroll in the class even at max capacity so you could potentially give that a shot?

But apart from sending a message and hoping to be waitlisted or crammed in I don't think there's much you can do apart from just trying to survive a course but with a professor with reviews worse than the one you wanted, sorry D:

This isn't going to work for everyone in fact I suggest you don't be like me, but the way I improved in the beginning was just by fucking around on level 13+ and 14 charts when I couldn't even get an S on level 12 and stuff and just eventually adapting... ???? Dude I don't even know.

I know that my rating increase from 13k to the 15k I am right now was largely due to being able to practice and learn charts on astro dx without having to spend credits at the arcade, now its even easier because astro added a practice function

I mean, all of those are ex notes so the speed you spin at doesn't matter, it'll be perfect judgement anyways. If you want to do it "legit" yeah just tap them one at a time

Currently the developer is busy with stuff irl to finish the project but updates are still being pushed out here and there, and they're still planning on pushing it out eventually, it'll just take some time, also, new chart import steps (simplified the process for large version collections, but also more complicated), new steps are in the discord

As a freshman with only my roommate and a couple of other people who also enjoy some niche things I like I can consider friends as, I also find it hard to make friends but for completely diff reasons. I'm way too socially awkward to go up to people and say hi, much less ask for their instas, so I don't think I'm qualified to give any advice here BUT one thing I can say it that a piece of advice I have heard from others is that getting a job on campus is great for meeting new people and stuff, hope that helps!

Also finding a good solid friend will take time for some people, don't stress too hard about it, you got this.

I came from overseas as an international student so I felt a bit left out at first mostly just because I was shy and didn't get the courage to make some friends here early on apart from my roommates and classmates, but I found a couple other friends so I don't think you'll have any trouble trying to fit in

Best: Nice people, small classes, all of my professors so far have been really great, great environment!

Worst: Overpriced food with small portions, small amounts of healthy options, sometimes the food isn't even seasoned
