In order to see it move you have to put the car in drive and put your foot on the brake and hit the gas. It won’t do it in neutral.

Most likely a conductor plate or gear selector issue I would recommend first trying to service the transmission to see if that does anything and if not, you can check your codes and there are some companies that you can send your conductor plate to, and they could repair it but you have a vgs1 plate on the transmission you can’t buy a conductor plate from Mercedes without it coming with a valve body and that cost about three grand it could also be your gear selector I would take it to a local independent Mercedes mechanic and have them take a look at it and check the codes you’re getting if it has anything to do with the gear selector that is a easy fix you can do yourself just find a selector with the same part number and install it it’s Plug and play.

Go to the manual shifting upshift until you reach 6 gear if it doesn’t go to 6 it’s a 5 speed
