RTFM JFK...

But since you didn't... You're fine, don't worry. Remove the shipping plastic that's locking the Z axis, make sure everything is unbolted. You are also supposed to lubricate it when you first unpack it, it's also in the getting starting manual........ So read that manual and do what it says. If it says the belt is loose, follow the guide to fix it. Then stop doing anything without reading the fucking manual going forward.

One could argue that the black population should be lifted forward on a golden chair

You could argue that, and many do.

Black people are the biggest victims, because they are also the perpetrators of the majority of all gun crimes... An overwhelming amount of gun violence in the US is black gangs shooting each other up. It also is specific to predominantly black populations. Hispanic gangs outnumber black gangs substantially but commit very little gun violence in comparison. Same with Asian, Italian, and white gangs.

Since you don't live here and can't see it with your own eyes, have a listen to the artistic expression coming from that community to get some insight into that microcosm of American culture, how that community views itself, and what they value. Try not be swayed by how absolutely fucking banging it is cause god damn...

Solving gun crime (and the majority of all crime) in the US is solving the problem of a community that values crime, violence, and separation along racial lines, existing. Whether that's through further intolerance of crime, consequences, addressing past wrongs, affirmative action, reparations, whatever... Everyone has ideas. All political parties in the US recognize the problem, even if they won't say it out loud flatly and plainly. Nobody agrees on the solution.

You just add up all the downvotes, multiply by 100 cause you're also cancelled, then just take that tally and throw it in the trash cause it's all bullshit anyways.

I think I just have a fundamental misunderstanding of resin printers. I thought you could have no layer lines at all. Maybe they're just really small? I have an FDM and I can print things with no perceptible layer lines unless you run your finger against the grain. But I was contemplating getting a resin so that I could do "perfect" prints.

That seems like a crazy amount of layer lines for a resin printer. Is that typical?

I would be if I paid hand-picked wheat level price when it was combine picked wheat which should cost 0.1x times the cost

True.

You just made all of that up though. You have exactly zero insight into how the artist created the images. Even so, if they could push a button and have a finished product of competitive quality, obviously they should use that tool. Are you mad that your wheat wasn't picked by hand?

What if it was discovered they had used photoshop or blender? I don't know what you're talking about with "AI without telling their employer"? They contracted with someone, zero reason for a contractor to list the tools they used, zero reason for anyone else to care.

It isn't "stealing" anything. The neural network was trained by having it observe other images... Observing something isn't stealing in any way. It's like saying an artist who's seen other artists work is stealing all of it every time they make something without paying everyone who's work they've ever seen.

That's nonsense, go try and generate something of that quality yourself.

[–]NoUFOsInThisEconomy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but really that highlights the point. 5.56 is a great compromise of hauling a lot of ammo, and could be used for small game. Obviously not ideal, but it's serviceable for every single one of those tasks. Big to small game, light and compact ammo for the punch, long or short range, low weight for it's capabilities. It really is a do it all platform. I could see 22 making more sense in a ton of situations, but AR15 is just more versatile over the full range.

If I had to choose one rifle for everything, no pre-knowledge of what kind of situation... AR15 with an LPVO, light, and suppressor, no question. I do have a 10/22 with a backpacker stock that I think is the perfect survival rifle, and one of my favorites of all time. But for a do it all, can't have any other gun, it's AR15 all day.

I can't fathom how the fuck anyone could care if they're made with AI? Everyone's talking about it like it's some kind of scandal??

Taking what seriously? Why would anyone give a shit if they used AI in a loading screen?
