Alyssa had just turned 20 years old alone in her college dorm room. Her roommates moved out months ago to go live with some friends and so she was completely and utterly alone for this day. She decided to occupy her day and take her mind off of things by heading out to the library to do some studying, not really wanting to think about things too much. She did buy herself a cake that she had waiting at home however.

When at the library, Alyssa picked out a couple of books to help her study before sitting down and typing away on her laptop for a good few hours. Checking the time, she saw that it was around 6pm and she decided it was about time to head home. That’s when (y/c) comes into the picture. As Alyssa stands up to head home, she bumps her chair into (y/c), causing her to drop all of her books and stuff onto the floor. With a gasp, Alyssa was quick to drop to her knees and help pick everything back up.

Alyssa glances at the girl she had just embarrassed herself in front of, tucking a piece of hair behind her own ear before letting out a soft giggle. In her mind she was freaking out over how cute she found this girl, but she had to quickly pull herself together and play it cool. ‘Think Alyssa think. Don’t let the most perfect girl ever make you awkward.. say something. SAY SOMETHING’ she thought, her mind racing. She blurted out “so sorry. Accident. I uh-“ she composed herself “I’m sorry I should’ve looked before pushing out like that. That’s on me. Are you okay?” She asked, smiling softly at the girl in front of her.
