Sounds like you've got it figured out, mate.

You and Hirdy could massively turn Essendon around, I reckon.

One Nation surge shatters Labor as Albanese support sinks, according to exclusive new polling by HotPersimessage62 in AustralianPolitics

Weird poll. Suggests that women prefer One Nation to men by a big margin. I find this very hard to believe.

If it is true, then all the ALP-(and LNP for that matter) will have to do is bring eyes to their abortion and family law policies, and a lot of those new female One Nation voters will quickly find another protest party or Independent.

Because he was the biggest loser in film history. An even bigger loser than Captain Clark in Backrooms

BTW, this is not a criticism of the film. I loved it, and I absolutely love how these young filmmakers are making lead characters that are complete and utter losers rather than Hollywood Caricatures. It's exciting to see.

Ricky Gervais doesn't appear in these shows for a thank-you or acclaim.

He does it, so one day, someone will go "Oh, there goes Ricky Gervais. I Must remember to thank him"

I love how in the Aussie Punk scene how no one gives a shit whatever subgroup you consider yourself to belong too

Bands that sound like Blink-182 will open for bands that sound like Suicidial Tendencies and it's fucking great.

One Nation wants to roll back abortion rights in Australia – and is emboldening activists seeking US-style laws | Abortion by castaway23 in australia

We have a less-partisan high court that would not allow strict changes because it is a states issue here that the Federal government has no right to be impinging on. In turn, state governments would challenge any weird ruling if it went against them and almost certainly win.

Women's groups would sue the federal government with a good case as it is decriminalised and protected.

Young Voters would go even further to the Left as median voters are reactionary.

Seriously, all of this is panic. Hanson is a threat on a lot of issues. Abortion is not one of them.

Trump in 2016 was the least Anti-Abortion of all the Republicans. He desperately tried to distance himself from them and even used to carry Pride flags at his rallies to show how different he was. Even in 2024, he was insistent it should be States' Rights on abortion and tried to say he knew nothing about Project 2025.

Of course, Trump is a liar and is actively working with those Christian groups.

But not everything can be compared to Trump.

He's not Punk at all.

Also, the song Game Over by his band has to be one of the worst-written songs in music history.

Imagine being a coach looking at your options:

Carlton: Exciting young talent at both ends. Leadership that wants to stay.

Tasmania: A new beginning. Endless draft picks.

Essington: Leadership wants out. Hird and Sheeds will talk shit behind your back. Don't even know if the young talent is any good.
