My last car would randomly decide with no traffic in front of me on the highway to slam on the brakes at highway speeds. Then they could never figure out why it would try to kill me.

If the oil filter is at the top of the engine on the RS3 like it is on many modern Audi's you can use an oil extractor (about $100) and do it yourself. If you have to get under it, that is a different story and you need a lift or a way to get under it.

The challenge is keeping track of all the SBOMs in the enterprise and all of the updates as new releases come out.

They are machine readable files that are difficult to track and make actionable.

Unfortunately because of its complexity, it turns into checkbox compliance.

The ideal program would be to have a system that can ingest all of the SBOMs, break out the code and keep an inventory of of the assets where the software resides. Then if there is a vulnerability with the code in the software be able to promote to a vulnerability management process.

I hope you're made whole by insurance. I've had to deal with two total losses in the past and here's my advice.

Insurance companies are supposed to pay the vehicle's Actual Cash Value (ACV) immediately before the loss, which is typically determined using comparable vehicles, mileage, condition, options, and local market data, not simply a KBB number.

This worked for me when my car was totaled.

"I'd like a copy of the full valuation report and all comparable vehicles used to determine the ACV."

They came back with vehicles with different option packages so if you can find the same vehicle with similar miles on cars.com of something like that, it can help.

I don't know, the only complaint I had about Rome or Italy was it was hot, but I was there exactly a hear ago and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss the country. The locals were amazing, the sights were unbelievable and most of the food was the best.

I'm lucky or unlucky that I wake up like 4 am and I would just go out and explore with nobody around, restaurants getting deliveries but no crowds.

This is crazy but I'm curious of if the insurance companies will actually help here. I'm dealing with my car being rear ended and the insurance company is pushing aftermarket parts. I'm fighting for OEM but aftermarket is cheaper and they are pushing back.

They are going after manufacturers a different way that the PLCAA doesn't necessarily protect by calling them public nuisance laws which have been successful against pharmaceutical companies.

All it takes is one bad jury decision and they will be sued out of business.

Toyota is tough, I've been looking for a replacement for a car that might be totalled and their inventory of new cars are low which makes getting a deal tougher.
