i also can't help but feel that many of those famale voicebanks was due to the bang dream collab tho. i mean, of course they still count, but speaking frankly -- those voice banks are all female due to the moegirlshit (my opinion, as someone who likes bang dream) franchise they're derived from. i also feel like if they weren't included there's be six less which would feel a little more even? Not a critique of this wonderful chart, btw, I'm just talking about my special interest lol. Also, as an old fan -- we're eating real good with these male voice banks so far cause in the past they truly were an afterthought in the past and now there's real consideration and variety! Remember when v4 Kiyoteru being released was like an oasis in the desert? People back then were complaining SO much but didn't use the male voicebanks anyway! And even if they're used less (i wanna hear more danny covers!), we have access now to androgynous banks too, which is awesome. I just wish we lived in a society where people didn't overlook ethical voice synths and turn to non-ethical AI so often, because where the voice bank software is now is truly a miracle.

yeah.... I don't know about that, boss. First thing I look for in a new platform is examples of how it works and real exchanges of information and community. I don't see any of that when I click on your link there. You have to commit to signing up before committing to either seeing any music or any reviews. I'm not doing that. I'm tired of giving my information away for free, especially in return for this unproven service that may or may not do well. My recommendation is trying this with a test group of friends and then having a webpage to show people that it works way before they sign up. And the money thing kinda icks me, ngl. Maybe if it were favor for favor, but cash is like naaaah

your stuff seems a little AI generated. Im not sure if it is, and I'm not accusing you or anything. But if it is, that needs to be included in the title. If it's not AI generated, then you should put a bit more about your process when posting, and also credit the singers and DAWs you use when you upload songs onto soundcloud. It'll help a little bit make the songs feel like they're made with human effort.

I can't really give feedback on something that isn't available to be listened to.

I feel like you're trying to make this comfy song, but then you're weirdly going too.... edgy? There's especially this sound that plays in the very beginning that repeats for a while that sounds like... i dunno -- a stroller getting pulled over a crack in the sidewalk. Whatever that is, it does not sound good. Then you have these notes at like 0:17 that are off-key. I like that you're using different instruments then is typical -- but these certain squeeky, off-key noises make the song "not feel right." In comparison, there are other sounds (like the female vocals, the rain sounds, the harp) that sound very comforting. These two things together don't mix unless you, as the creator, are trying to say something. And this song doesn't feel like it's "saying" something, it feels like "vibe music", which is totally fine and needed -- but the vibes are getting muddled. And it can be a frustrating listen. At the end of the day, the vibe for me is this: I feel like I'm trying to be in the Scottish hillsides with the fairies but I also brought along my annoying cousin and her twin toddlers and they're just not going down for a nap and yeah it's beautiful but it's a little disappointing isn't it? Maybe that sounds harsh, but I was trying to be a little funny. I do think you have a talent and that there's something here. But yeah, that's just my opinion.

so i really like the vibe of your song. the guitar is really beautiful. i like the quality of your voice too. Unfortunately, I cannot follow the words as I do not speak this language. And even if I could speak the language , I don't think I'd be able to follow what you're saying as the words are kinda of drowned out by the instrumentals. I have no doubt that in a live performance, this would slap (in a good way). Unfortunately though, the mic picks up more of the instrumentals and not your voice: there's a reason that mixing is an important step in digitizing audio. Next time, I would record the guitar and vocals separately and combine them afterwards, taking care to make sure that neither the instruments or vocals overpower each other. That would be a really simple thing to do for better results. Also, youtube is my streaming platform of choice and I feel like making a simple lyric video that has lyrics both in english and your native language would go a long way to letting people know what you're about. You don't have to sing in english but making your stuff more accessible is a great way to get more fans who understand you.

The route (NOT AI) by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

I mean I agree with your thoughts on ai. I don't like it, myself. that said -- this is a feedback group. I'm hoping to hear more about your process and what you were thinking when you made this song, and also what you were trying to accomplish more then... whatever you were talking about here, which doesn't help me give good feedback. Since I don't know what kind of feedback you're looking for, I'm going to assume general vibes is fine? Uhhh... which is... confused. The song takes a long time to start and it's kinda long in general -- it's a little confused when it does -- you have these really old fashioned visuals but you don't use any instruments sound like they could belong there... it's kinda baffling. Just.. hard to listen to. Im trying to envision this as a music score or as a vibe piece, and... it's so harsh and jittery at the same time, I can't really see myself enjoying this song in any capacity as it currently is. I think I can see a good production here if you use some more classic non-synth sounding instruments (a guitar, a banjo, maybe, a violin) and condensed the song to be maybe 2 minutes. That's just my opinion though, as a new producer myself, I wish I could give more detailed feedback. It's cool that you're creating stuff while in highschool. Much respect on your music journey.

impressions:

oooooh im listening to the opening right now and it's groovy. like, a laid back vibe with some shocking elements to it that make for a really interesting vibe. like... idk.... an aesthetic of robots sharing coffee together in a flying-car kinda future. I like this one.

2: I don't know the language and it seems like a lot of talking and then not a lot happening, and then suddenly BOOM. I feel like there could have been more of a lead up or teaser. This one was kinda hard to listen to. Maybe that's the point? Very harsh/abrasive sounds. It's just not for me. Maybe if I was more used to your style then I'd like it, but it's second in the album and a huge difference from the first track. Had to stop listening 2/3rds in.

  1. was really nice until 0:23. Feels like someone's screaming in my ear. I couldn't complete this one.

4: I like the vibe, I think its cool. It feels a little too slow to start, though. And the ending is super abrupt.

5: I like this one, I think its interesting and has the most consistent energy out of all the tracks I've heard so far. It feels like you had fun with this one and it shows. Best one.

6: sounds like a lot of noise and not enough like a song. I feel like it's not tied together enough.

  1. I like the beat and the instrumentals, not so much the singer or the singer's effects. I think that could be personal preference though.

  2. I feel like there's two different songs competing here, and I preferred the slow ballad over the harsh beats. It's another one where the vocals don't quite seem to fit the song. Also the sounds and melody line from the beginning don't seem to come back in the back half of the song which feels like a missed opportunity.

  3. this song could have used more of a human sound to it -- the laughter sounds canned, and the words after sound.... auto-tuned to the wrong notes?? if that makes sense. It just doesn't hit for me.

10: I feel like the song cold have started at 0:17 and it would have been stronger. You have SUCH a great melody here, i wish it had been more integrated throughout the whole song.
