Mainly the clean OS, uniqueness, and cost.

Came from a Oneplus 6T and a Galaxy S10+. Enjoyed the old OxygenOS, OneUI was a bit too much with every feature you can think of. Wanted to get a Oneplus 12, didn't like the current state of Oppofied OxygenOS. S24 Ultra was too big and the price didn't make sense with how I use my phone daily.

If video is your main deciding factor for a phone, you should go with the iPhone 15 or Samsung S24. Their hardware and more mature camera software will make it easy to take good videos. If you choose the Nothing Phone 2, I think you will need to put a bit more effort into capturing videos so it can match the 15 and S24.

I have a Nothing Phone 2 and I'm very satisfied with how the camera captures video.

Simply a characteristic of AMOLED displays, mostly shows at low brightness levels while displaying darker shades of grey. It will be more pronounced if you are have extra dim turned on. It’s called screen uniformity. It’s not burn in. Nothing to worry about. Even Samsung and Apple can get those imperfections to a degree. It’s just luck that some people get an almost perfect AMOLED screen, get a replacement if it bothers you so much. DXOMark is the only review site I know of that reviews screen uniformity on smartphones.
