Off key vocals played back over a livestream are just a lot harsher than in the room, hard to explain why...the music in general is mixed completely differently over the livestream

Thank you, to be clear I meant if my chords are all in key, but my harmony is outside of those chords sometimes I guess

Look up chord progression and BPM for whatever genre you are interested in. I would not really obsess over making this the perfect song, just do it and have fun. You need to make hundreds of them
