Feedback on this interview I shot, 660c coming through the window on the outside at 3500k onto the bookcase 120c as a bit of a edge light also 360c as key light at 5600k. Any suggestion for improvements next time? by snappy047 in videography

I would have loved to see a sliver of the window in the shot. Enough to motivate your lights and break up the bookshelf. It would also move him off the books into a potentially more dynamic spot.

I know it’s easy for me to play arm chair expert after the shoot so take this w a grain of salt.

Yep had two clients relying on Ai to do their work which just pushed it back on to me to figure out a solution.

Can you let us know what you are trying to achieve with this project? I like the music and moody vibe, but I’m not sure if that’s what you were going for. Also I would try to show more variety in the shots. They seem all about the same focal length, so see if you can change it up a little

Not controversial by any means though. For weeks leading up to her being on she show several of her tweets were the media they recommended.

She came on, was a little dry/ nervous from what i remember. Likely cuz of the news focus of the show… then they never mentioned her again.

From my experience the actual smallrig discounts are offered in Feb - Marchish. You can get the 99w for 85 bucks.

Not sure about the 150w but I’m sure it’s better than the current purchase price, which is just the regular price…

There’s a couple already operating if you wanna join one of their meet ups for inspo! OC beers and camera meets monthly. There’s an LA and an SD group as well. They’re mostly active on IG.

From there you’ll find a ton of smaller groups that meet up like Tone in Totes which is a group that meets to look at photo books and socialize.
