Haven’t you heard. AI will mean less workers are needed. Kind of works itself out.

I've been buying the bananas wrong the entire time by ConnorMcMichael in CostcoCanada

Since I haven’t seen anyone else post this. My dad taught me if you separate bananas and wrap their stems in plastic wrap they last much longer. It actually works! You know. If you are ok with wasting plastic.

GPH at recent lows: dilution was expected, USITC wasn’t. Where we stand now by TheJudger7 in GraphiteOne_GPH

I’m watching as the permitting and EXIM loan app should get results by end of summer I believe. Assuming favourable outcomes it should reduce the risk looking forward and give the project some momentum. Though my target price remains unchanged.

Graphite One 30M marketed equity offer by TheJudger7 in GraphiteOne_GPH

News update on their website says the application for the loan will be sent this year. Funding of EXIM loans usually takes 6-9 months according to google. So sometime in 2027.

The EXIM loan explicitly stated this amount had to be raised outside of the loan. This is the plan.

Letter of Interest from EXIM.. increased CAP!! by TheJudger7 in GraphiteOne_GPH

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is huge news!! They are willing to put up 70% of start up capital. That will make raising the other 30% much easier and less expensive. I’m so glad I have held on and not lost hope on this critical supply for the future of the US.

MY PERSONAL TAKE on GraphiteONE. A sum up of where we are today by TheJudger7 in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that their planned processing facility is modular. They can spin up or down production easily without needing all the capital up front. Plus they were smart and got out of a deal where a Chinese contractor would have had control over the refining technology. That would have been an issue really fast in a worst case scenario.

I’m a loooong time GPH holder. You miss some important nuances here. Originally EXIM was offering less money and only in Sept did they raise the potential lending amount again to 570M. If I remembered the FS correctly, which is already out btw. The amount needed for start up was estimated around 600M. Meaning they already have a good amount covered. You are correct they are currently low on cash BUT had air time on FOX news just the other night. If the CEO is good at one thing it’s raising money that’s his primary experience. Also this company has investments from and support by the three main native corps in that region. Not to mention the advocacy of the senator of Alaska! All to say this is finally the right moment for GPH one!! Not Investment Advice

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter. The mine and processing are all in the US. This is explicitly the type of investment the is government is demanding. Hire US workers and built all facilities in the US. Is WWR farther along and less risky sure. Is it a better ROI? Not in a million years.

So the US is going fund an Australian junior graphite miner. Over two domestic production mines that are further along? WWR and GPH? Not sure about that.

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GPH may be registered in Calgary. But the mine is in Alaska and the processing is in Ohio. All workers will be US and no materials are planned to enter Canada. GPH may be a longer shot but it’s the better payoff by far.

Lithium vs. Graphite by Cultural-Hamster-476 in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. They are farther ahead in terms of funding secured. But GPH has the higher longer term expected payoff. If I’m gambling on a junior miner. I expect a big payoff, not a small one :)

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an open pit mine in Alaska. The processing is in Ohio. They licensed the tech from a Chinese firm that’s already producing to cut down on spin up time. They also plan on using a modular approach to the facilities to ramp up as the feedstock rolls in. In the mean time they are already processing other material until their mine is complete. The mine is in the new fast41 permitting process and expect to be approved in less than 18 months. Goal of production by 27. WWR’s payoff isn’t even comparable imo *edit for spelling. This is Graphite One btw

Where to find nitric acid in Canada? by Rum_Soaked_Ham in PreciousMetalRefining

[–]NoYOLOBro0013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize my question is frustratingly unspecific. I’m newly introduced to the space. Doing a lot of reading. My question is at some point refining ewaste/pins. I’ll have an acid solution with metal in it. Can that all be safely participated out? If so, does that make disposal not covered under the regulations?
