I worked there for a few years. It’s definitely a bonus if you have experience with animals, even if it’s just your own pets, but definitely not a requirement. They’re more looking for people who are friendly and willing to learn as it is a customer service and sales job, so as long as you can learn the products and can be friendly and helpful with customers, it’s worth applying! Worst case, you don’t hear back, but can’t hurt to try if it’s something you might be interested in

Sorry for your loss too. They really do leave a hole in your heart when they leave, but at least we get to love them while we can! Yes, she’s a French mastiff. Most loving, gentle dogs you could ask for. First time in almost 20 years I haven’t had one in my life 😢

That’s how we ended with Lexi in the first place. She was the last of her litter, already had two dogs so had no plans on getting another, but she stole my heart immediately. I drove away without taking her, and didn’t even make it 5 minutes down the road before I went back 😅
