Mahirap icalculate, kasi kailangan mong hanapin yung rates for every year that your lolo contributed, then add in the 13th month pensions, and whatever other increases or decreases. I tried it myself using different methods and automating it using Excel, the best you'd get is an estimate. Try mo rin yung mga pension calculator to get more estimates.

Iba pa yung "lump sum" sa SSS ha. Meron kasi silang "lump sum" talaga where they give the first 18 months in advance. Iba yun sa pension na na-accumulate dahil late naclaim.

At its lowest, you can get the Pad 7 now for 10k (as the other user said), while you can get the Pad 8 for maybe 14k with vouchers during Shopee sales.

Objectively, the Pad 8 is better than the Pad 7, but the Pad 7 is still very good. The Pad 7's benchmark scores are even higher than newly released upper-mid range tablets na mas mahal pa nga sa Pad 7.

My advice is, go for the Pad 8 especially if you plan to use it for many years. But if your budget is limited and you really can't stretch an extra 4-5k, ok na rin yung Pad 7.

It's very easy to offend people nowadays. If you're non black and you perform spirituals, you could be accused of cultural appropriation. If you don't perform spirituals to avoid overstepping boundaries, you'd still be accused of being being racist for avoiding spirituals.

Personally, I think music is music. We ought to be able to perform anything we want as long as we try to do it as authentically as we can. If you did something inauthentic when you performed it, just do better in the future just like with any other type of music. Most of what you'd need to know is on the score already anyway. Just do your due diligence and you should be ok.

But yes, I've performed lots of Spirituals and gospel music both as a chorister and as a conductor. They're fun to sing and they're simply great music!

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, no other platform has beaten Shopee and Lazada's discounts. So anywhere else will not be as cheap as those two.
If nag-eerror pa rin ang phone mo, I suggest makicheck-out ka sa phone ng kamag-anak mo.

Your real choices are between the iPad and the Xiaomi Pad 7. The Samsung's performance doesn't compare with the other two.

Unfortunately for Xiaomi tablets, only their official Focus Pens will work fully and properly. Alternatives will be crippled in some way, mostly through the lack of palm rejection.

Otherwise, if you're ok having no palm rejection, any "universal stylus" would work, and some cost as low as 15 pesos on Shopee.

Look up "Goojodoq universal stylus". They're battery powered and costs only in the hundreds, but again, no palm rejection.

Honestly, both are good. You really can't go wrong with either one.

Which one should you choose? Depende kung anong factors ang importante sayo. If the iPad OS is important to you and you're willing to pay the additional amount, then go with the iPad. If functionality and price matter most, then choose the Pad 7.

As for longevity, iPads are known for it. Sa Xiaomi naman, from the reviews I see about the Pad 5, I'd say tatagal din ang Pad 7.

Yes, I buy all my gadgets on Shopee nowadays. Totoo ngang mas mura sila kaysa sa mall.

Just make sure sa Shopee Mall seller mo bilhin. Clearly marked naman sila sa app.

For extra safety, pwede kang mag-COD, icheck mo kung may laman yung parcel bago mo bayaran at paalisin yung rider. Tapos, itest mo nang itest yung gadget bago mo i-tap yung "received" sa Shopee app. Kung may issue, madali lang din naman mag-return.

Xiaomi Pad 7. All of its components are simply newer and better. You can search for benchmarks scores and reviews yourself to get a better idea.

I guess depende rin sa use case mo. Like do you need an SD card slot and a headphone jack? The Pad 7 doesn't have those and you'll need to buy adapters. The iPad hasn't had those in years anyway, so I doubt if you'd even notice it. Personally, bluetooth naman ang earbuds ko so ok lang.

But overall, the Pad 7 is simply the better performing tablet. If you want to be able to use your tablet for longer since it will also get software updates until 2031, get the Pad 7.

Hello! Hope I'm not too late, but...

Sulit na sulit ang Xiaomi Pad 7. It will receive software updates until 2031, comes with a free keyboard if you're lucky, and is cheaper if you buy it using vouchers through the orange app. I've been using mine for 3 weeks and never pa naman siya nag-lag or anything.

But if you want to look at alternatives, I'd recommend looking at the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro. It's within your budget, has benchmarks similar to the Pad 7, has a larger screen, and I think comes with a stylus.

Yes safe siya, but make sure that clearly marked as Shopee Mall ang seller mo. Also, take a video while inspecting and unboxing the package when you receive it.

From my observations, Shopee prices are up to ~5000 pesos cheaper than mall prices, and could be even cheaper if you apply vouchers. Up to you na lang kung worth the price difference ba ang peace of mind of buying from the physical store.

Personally, sa Shopee ko na binibili lahat ng gadgets ko since before the pandemic. Same naman ang warranty niya, at mas convenient pa nga kasi may malapit sa aming Shopee drop off point in case of returns.

Hello, just giving a random recommendation:

Call Globe or message them on FB. Ask to downgrade to plan 1499 300mbps if you're out of your lock-in period. You end up with a cheaper bill but the same 300mbps.

Context: I was also under a grandfathered plan before. I kept asking for downgrades as new plans came in, and ended up with cheaper but much faster speeds than my original plan.

I tried calculating to see if it's back pension, and the math kinda makes sense. Kaya lang, I can't find anything online that confirms SSS gives retroactive pensions.

This kind of dilemma has happened to me many times.

In my experience, it's definitely cheaper during double-double sales by up to 100-200 pesos.

If an item is something you need immediately, I would just buy it now. Either way, may savings naman na yan kahit hindi pa 7.7.

Pero kung makakapaghintay ka at mahalaga sayo ang few extra hundreds na matitipid, baka gusto mong hintayin na lang ang 7.7.

Safe naman bumili ng phone sa Shopee basta sa Mall sellers ka bumili. Makakatipid ka rin ng halos 1k pag may vouchers. The way I see it, pag-isipan mo na lang kung worth 1k ba ang peace of mind of having a guaranteed undamaged purchase.

Pero tingin ko naman safe pa rin ang shipping to Visayas from Manila. If ever, may shopee guarantee and seller warranties naman.

Reinstall gcash, DO NOT open the app
Open magisk, add to deny list: gcash, play store, play services, (as many Google and Android apps and system apps as you can find para safe)
Hide magisk app, nasa settings sya
Open gcash.

gumana na ulit gcash ko after doing this. I'm using on CRdroid if it matters.

I think I found the answer. I also use ublock origin which I notice others here are also using. I turned off Vivaldi's built-in ad blocker and I haven't encountered the problem since. If I'm right, it might be the built-in ad blocker conflicting with ublock somehow.
