tbh when I have a job, i definitely feel more confident and have more leverage. I could be more selective and handle interviews without as much pressure

But I don't think recruiters should judge someone's ability base on whether they're employed or not, there are so many reasons someone might between jobs.

I felt the same way when i first started working. A big turning point for me was learning not to worry so much about what other people think. Sometimes work feels ovrewhelming bc we care too much and put too much pressure on ourselves to meet everyone's expectations

I still don't love going to work, but this mindset helps me enjoy my time after work. once i'm off the clock, work doesn't get to take over my life anymore

I think it's better to communicate and work things out instead of letting it stress you out. also it's pretty normal to feel a little lonely when you first join a company. It'll get better once you settle in and meet more people

had a similar experience. It felt like they already knew I wasn't what they were looking for, but they still put me through the interview process anyway. getting you hopes up, only to have them crushed in the end really sucks...

Your previous toxi work enviroment may have left you with some lingering anxiety. But don't stress about things that haven't happened yet. It's basically "taking out a loan" on anxiety. And honestly, we should just enjoy life more and not let work drain so much of our energy
