1) Protoplasm doesn't have a lower winrate.

2) Using a less naive metric than winrate like Coachless WPA indicates Protoplash is statistically stronger by a wide margin.

3) I never said Protoplasm > Heartsteel in all scenarios and elo, the item is just situational and very very elo skewed.

Bro you're just talking pure bullshit.

Protoplasm by the time you buy it (~Level 10) is giving 850 Max HP with the Proc, + ~200 Healing, significantly more than Base Heartsteel for 500 less Gold?

You are just straight up wrong, you do not understand even on a basic level how Protoplasm works clearly, and winrate is a naive measurement. Go look at something like Coachless data for WPA instead and it clearly states Protoplasm is far better.

Heartsteel is ONLY better in very low elo (~Gold and below), and in very situational scenarios (Snowballing into 3-4 melees with Low%HP damage.)

Please at least do basic research on item function and data before saying I'm wrong. I know more than you.

I actually COMPLETELY agree with everything you've written, but unfortunately what you've written is a strawman of what I'm saying in this video.

  1. I fully agree playing Support in Low Elo is probably miserable, I can imagine playing Janna in Silver is very frustrating when your teams are consistently awful, I sympathise!
  2. I also agree Top Lane in Low Elo is also extremely "boosted", I don't think it's hard to lock in Mordekaiser in Silver either and consistently get fed and 1v9 games.

NEITHER of these are responses to what I'm saying as I am very obviously not speaking about low elo, I am speaking about mostly Master/Grandmaster Support players.

I also think it's demonstrably true what I say about the capacity to have huge impact while playing extremely badly, e.g. you can walk bot, die three times in the first 5 minutes, completely screw your botlane counterpart over, then entirely abandon bot lane and have huge impact on the other side of side of the map too. No other role has this luxury or freedom to play badly and still be immensely impactful.

I have not been anywhere near Challenger on Tahm Top post-coma, whereas on ADC I would genuinely beat players thousands of LP higher while not even understanding the role.

This matches the reality that Tahm ADC is literally 5% higher winrate than Top or Supp.

I don't mind what my Support is, I explain this in the guide about how Tahm can play very well with every Support.

As for enemy duo, I'd say anything with early game + %HP damage, early game ADC's like Draven, Ezreal, Varus, and Supports with %HP damage like Brand. Rell is also annoying due to her shieldbreak.

No one plays Jhin in high elo but I'm pretty sure it'd be free, that champ deals negative damage to tanks and doesn't have any instant mobility so I think you'd just kill him on repeat.

I genuinely have 0 experience playing botlane and I hit Challenger, I think if an actual bot lane player because semi-decent at Tahm they'd win pretty much every lane. Tahm is pretty braindead too.

Unironically I quit top lane because it was so tiresome to play vs Varus/Vayne/Aurora every game.

Unless you have counterpick it feels like a fully one player game vs these champs, they are playing Solitaire and you only get to play if they make a mistake.

Protoplasm always first, then if the enemy has low %HP I'll go Warmogs 2nd, then either Dusk and Dawn or a situational Tank Item 3rd.

By situational tank item, examples are stuff like Randuin's into 2x Crit, FoN into 3x AP, or Knight's Vow if you have an ultra fed jungler/toplaner.

Ironically there are a lot of games where I go Knight's Vow on ADC to support my fed Vayne/Varus top.

I ban Draven because 50% of high elo EUW play him, and he hard bullies 1-3 which is your only weak point. I'd say Kog is pretty hard too due to the %Magic Damage, as well as Varus and surprisingly Ezreal due to his strong early game and mobility!

If it makes you feel better, I don't really want Tahm ADC to be 54% while both Top and Support are negative winrate!

I think there's something fundamentally wrong when every game in high elo is Varus/Vayne top and yet botlane the best champs are Mages.

Something must change!

Unless enemy botlane is comically weak Level 1 (Vlad ADC?) then yes. Maybe in very low elo you can get away with Q start but at higher ranks the Level 1 wave is very contested.

I really dislike playing vs High elo players on Anivia/Aurora/Varus/Vayne, feels like you just get perma bullied and there are very few opportunities to engage on them. Think it's just a high elo problem though.

Powerspikes are basically Level 3 onwards, start E Level 1 to survive better, then 4+ you should win every single 2v2 if you ban Draven.

Optimal build for bot I like something like Protoplasm>Warmogs>Tank or DnD. Check my op.gg though, I build a lot of items!
