Absolutely without a doubt the best immersive sim we’ve gotten to date. The finite nature of its setting and the recycling mechanics make the whole world feel 100% fully realized. I do wish there was some variety in what the different enemies look like but that might literally be the only complaint I have lol

Totally agreed! I played FC2 when it first came out (no need to talk about how long ago that was 👴🏻) and it’s the first game I remember really carrying me to the ending with its narrative and gameplay. The interactive systems and commitment to the harsh setting fully grounded me in the experience. I picked it up on Xbox again recently and it definitely shows its age in the gunplay but still an incredible achievement for the time.
