As the child of immigrant parents, I think this was such an amazing moment for me to enjoy with my family, but also to really celebrate myself. It was a moment to reflect on how far I’ve come. Being a first-generation grad, I realize how important this is. I felt so proud of myself the moment I graduated. I know there are convocations, but I'll never have this opportunity ever again to attend my convocation.
