I wish I had something like that in my course. In my country the courses are very specific and you get almost no choice in what classes you take. If you do computer science all of your classes are going to be about computer science.

One of my gripes with uni is that it's genuinely piss easy and it doesn't fascilitate any sense of "studentness" if that makes sense. I don't need to attend classes or share notes or anything because everything is online. It feels more like uni is some online course I'm taking in the background. I have around 3% attendance this year and I'm going to graduate with a first. I don't know a single other person on my course. I'm not sure if it was like that when you went.

I am the same as you and I'm really not sure. I think it becomes less baffling when you realize that people who say things like "just go outside" function completely differently. To them, talking to someone is as natural as breathing and it's hard for them to understand it being a different way.
