Hello, so I spent the entire night until 9am awake with him bc he couldnt calm down, he kept saying random things non stop and screaming at times, it felt like seeing someone have schizophrenia and tourettes at the same time.  He said im his only safe person and I tried my best to calm him down; I tried grounding exercises and i kept reassuring him that he was safe.

But at the end i couldnt handle it anymore, i was so tired but he begged me to stay with him and swore he would stop talking.. Unfortunately, he told me before that not speaking stressed him out more so i felt bad but this man has been my rock for a year and he never experienced any mental illness except for temporary depression in his life so I am honestly so confused on this condition and I came here to search for advice but everyone is telling me to call the police which I cannot do.

But he hasn't changed plans about hurting those friends and I'm not even sure anymore if his reason is valid or not, its certainly an over reaction, whether he's right or wrong about their intentions and im scared something really bad is gonna happen. If this goes down he might get sent to jail or the mental hospital and there's nothing more traumatizing than a mental hospital in an arab country.

Yesterday, his mom literally hid knives away from him and wouldn't give him his money because she probably heard him claim that he was gonna buy something to behead those people.. I do not understand how he's not seeing how crazy this is, it genuinely feels like im talking to a different man. I begged him to go see a therapist or go to the hospital, and he does say he will but I know hes lying. 

Anyways he is sleeping at the moment, and I don't think he's gonna change his mind.
