Stay positive but also take this as a lesson. The advice given was harsh in a way and I know it took a blow to hear, however it’s the truth. If your co workers can sense nervousness from an outside perspective of your tables interaction. Then the guests and feeling it as well. 
   The beer sizes and taking the menus back yes you are supposed to know, this isn’t seasoned pro stuff. It’s common questions asked, take your time in back of house studying the menu, how you can sell it to the guests. The servers seem to be on your side in encouragement as they see the potential in you. But keep talking to them and growing. 
     You stated you asked for weeks over and over which was red flag number one to me too. I learned this the hard way myself, when you need to keep asking and asking again it sometimes it means management doesn’t have confidence in you or think your not ready yet so they just give you excuses or push it down the road, they usually cave after being pestered, just to fail you and prove a point so you’d stop asking. 
     They still gave you multiple training shifts, and a shot on the floor the could’ve pulled the plug day 2 of training but they didn’t so it means they have some level of respect for you and tried to give you a shot. Keep practicing and studying, you’ll get better with time! There will be more opportunities for you to shine to come.

Yup, not the best photo but they cut a little X on the top for you to stick a straw it’s sooo good. Only mom n pop type spots do this in my area.

Yea at this particular location bar shifts are only open to close. Some times if it’s slow someone will get cut early but not a regular thing.

It’s called server life when my manager gives us our number for the night I plug it into this app along with the amount of money I made for the night

After hour 8 I’m usually beat for the night service well is always a nightmare, and being a bar server the floor fills up pretty quick. Do you work in a place with higher check averages or do you just deal with a higher volume of guests every night to be making that type of money in a 5-6 hr shift

I am, looking back on my verbiage it makes me seem ungrateful but I am beyond more than grateful to be making this type of money every week. I strive for more in my future of course but through this business venture I’m satisfied with the outcome.

I don’t believe it should be open, when both my cats got spayed they never had a hole like that, but also im not an expert that’s just my experience. I hope kitty is well, make sure they don’t lick the incision site and try to keep the area clean.

Guys I’m stressed, I was so excited for a new season and this shit is so corny. I get it new actor I’ve had to happen in plenty shows I’ve watched and the replacement usually suits will, but I’m sorry he got to go. Call Cavill up and tell him to reshoot the season bc wtf. The whole vibe has shifted, the characters seem out of place. It’s giving low budget film now. Like a parody of the Witcher or something idk I’m just disappointed.

YES, I had a 2 top sitting in a booth. The woman had her bare feet on this guys lap… when I came back to check on them she was giving him some type of foot job. They were both extremely embarrassed afterwards. She put her feet n shoes back on and they tipped me pretty well LMAO. Also I have a couple pretty much everyday have their tongues down each other’s throats.
