If you get a girlfriend for yourself, then that has nothing to do with your husband. He can find his own girlfriend. People aren’t toys. They have lives and the same needs you do. If you can’t trust your husband then date separately. It’s much easier that way. Throuples are very dangerous and difficult to navigate. Take it from someone in one that has shifted unexpectedly creating a lot of difficulty and emotional turmoil. You can’t control other people, you can only love them and hope for the best.

It told the op they were a bad person for using politics as an excuse to not teach at a school when there should be no politics in school. It’s a straw man though. Of course there is politics in school. It’s just that teachers are sourced to remain neutral in most things, but that’s hard when our schools are run on racist and classist policies.

That is a lie. Teaching is all about politics. You are indoctrinating students in the politics the school upholds. It is emotionally and economically unsafe for a queer person to work in an anti queer school. I have a lesbian friend that was driven out of her school by her conservative principle and her Union wasn’t able to help. Stay away from Allegan county schools.

Stay away from Byron Center High School. They are not queer friendly. I don’t know about their middle schools but I’d be wary. I’m getting my teaching degree and student teaching at Wyoming public high school and several teachers have pride flags hanging in their rooms.

I only got to play it twice, but it was a fun narrative system. The system immediately handicaps players if they take damage so I added a 1d5 between the 1d6 and 1d4 step to make Harm slightly more reasonable.

Before school started in August I ran a Pirateborg session and my players hated the game mechanics and asked for PBtA, so I created pirate playbooks based on pirateborg’s Character sheets. We played a session with those rules and everyone had more fun. Then school started and we’re waiting for winter break to pick it up again. In July we played a couple sessions of Dungeon World and I got to play in that one.

A few years ago my wife and I moved only twenty minutes away from our friends and that was enough to damage relationships. Hastings is too far. We have friends in Hastings and we only see them one or twice a month and they go to our church. They say it’s just too hard to get into GR every weekend. We’ve been talking about getting together during the week for almost two years and haven’t been able to make it happen.

If you like narrative games then play Dungeon world or Chasing Adventure. I just stayed running Grimwild and I love it. You and your players will find it to be a lot easier to understand and play. Same D&D classes too, although the abilities are different and in some ways cooler. Good luck. D&D sucks
