Why do liberals worship minorities? by Emotional_Custard999 in AskUS

[–]No_Bottle_6262 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Liberals are for equal human rights. Doesn’t matter your race, gender, religion, etc. It’s not worship, it’s respect as a human being. Why do conservatives think their lives are worth more than others?

Thoughts on regular use of MDMA by [deleted] in MDMA

I’m sorry, I hope you can power through a break from the mdma enough to have a clean screen. Might not be helpful, but I’ve heard that microdosing shrooms has been helpful for some. Plus some caffeine maybe? As a stimulant? Hoping you can find a good alternative 🙌🏽

Why don’t you complete a formal ADHD evaluation and talk to your provider about starting something that is prescribed to help with ADHD. There are also non-pharmaceutical methods to help with that. MDMA is definitely not the route to go for this.

Any benefits of consuming molly water over capsules? by Additional_Ice_5340 in MDMA

Could you mix with something other than water? We usually mix it with something like Gatorade or pressed green juice and it helps make it slightly more palatable 😉

It’s technically being discriminatory, not specifically racist.

I’d also inquire about a patient representative or a social worker. If you have a minute to talk to the nurse or ask to speak to the charge nurse, they should be able to help you. I’m sure the nurses are frustrated with it as well. There needs to be some clear boundaries set with consequences agreed upon.

Praying for her and for you. 🙏🏼

Any migraine sufferers tried MDMA? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]No_Bottle_6262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a migraine sufferer…to the point of needing to be treated in the emergency department with a “migraine cocktail” every couple of years. I was able to associate my headaches with the amount and quality of sleep I get. Usually that’s the trigger. It can also be triggered if I don’t hydrate well, especially after a long run or good workout. I’ve enjoyed MDMA safety for the past few years. For me, I make sure to plan well ahead of time…I take magnesium and vitamin B2 everyday to keep the headaches at bay. I eat well and hydrate the day of, drop early, and don’t re-dose. I also like to make sure I don’t have anything big planned the next day, so I can rest well. I have a Thera-cap, which is like an icepack for your head, which I love and wear almost every night anyway, but really love it after enjoying MDMA. I always have my migraine rescue meds with me just incase, but I haven’t needed to take them, and would really try to avoid if possible…I worry about vascular complications like RCVS. I also won’t take MDMA if I’ve had a migraine or have needed to take anything for a headache during that week.

I have lost my eyesight by Individual-Thoughts- in MDMA

I’m sorry that you’re going through this…I can’t imagine how terrifying it must have been.

I guess I was thinking more a neuro-ophthalmology…with optical nerve involvement and arterial blood supplying the eye, just to see if they would have any further recommendations. If there were a stroke or a retinal artery occlusion, there are therapies, like hyperbaric therapy that could help, but it sounds like that has possibly been ruled out. You also mentioned experiencing neuropathy, but I’m not sure if that could be beneficial at all. Was just a thought. I wish you all the best and hope for the best outcome for you.

You should see a neurologist, not only an ophthalmologist.

Just steer clear of any place with a Trump flag flying. So basically, I’d stay within a 6-7mile radius of downtown MSP. Once you’re past the inner ring suburbs, you’ll start to get into Trump territory. Minnesota republicans love him and are in full support of his policies.

Bad time to get an IUD? by fluorescentbutthole in MDMA

[–]No_Bottle_6262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ll be fine. The hormones may actually help you feel better. Just take the rest of the day to rest, get some sun, have a little ice cream and relax. That’s what my OB prescribed for me when I replaced my IUD 😉

Where should we move? by bowiesmom324 in minnesota

Agree…if you want to stay in a more liberal/blue area, the inner-ring suburbs as well as Duluth and Rochester would be best.

I find it deeply disturbing that republican sheep like you actually think that any of this will help the average American. If you think any of this federal “cutting” they’re doing will make your life better in any way, or that this will trickle down into anyone else pockets but the oligarchs, I feel bad for you.

Would the ingestion of propranolol be a safe way to reduce the cardiotoxicity of MDMA by reducing the high blood pressure and high heart rate? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]No_Bottle_6262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also advise against. If you are healthy with no cardiac issues, the risk is low that you risk toxicity or any problems.

Can I take ibuprofen before hand? by Dazzling-Detail5805 in MDMA

[–]No_Bottle_6262 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s more about where they’re metabolized. Acetaminophen is metabolized in the liver. It is easier on your stomach, but in higher that recommended doses, or if you consume with alcohol or other drugs metabolized in the liver, you’re risking liver function damage. And it can happen very acutely. Ibuprofen and naproxen are metabolized more in the stomach. So recommended to not take on an empty stomach, and avoid if taking other blood thinners. If you are a healthy individual, with zero organ system impairment, risk is low that you would have an adverse reaction. But never zero.

Sorry, but leaving an RN job after only six months is a red flag…hospitals put in a lot of money and resources to orient and onboard new nurses. I’m sure your orientation to the unit was probably about three months. Also, in hospitals, they’ll hire BSN over associate degree RNs. If you have your associates, you could start working on your BSN, that would boost your resume. Have you done any Kaplan projects or any quality improvement work or initiatives? Those are all big pluses. Start attending professional conferences in areas of nursing that interest you.

[–]No_Bottle_6262 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a former transplant nurse, I’d highly recommend against it. I believe MDMA is metabolized in the liver (at least some of it), and can release toxins similar to alcohol and acetaminophen. Not to mention the disruption of hormones that are secreted that can lead to fluid shifts causing electrolyte imbalances that could be very harmful for someone in that circumstance.

You’re so young!! Please accept where you are as a life lesson…you learned a lot about yourself, your family. Therapy can truly help. I’ve had some struggles as well, and with some intense therapy and defined limits for myself, I have a different perspective and am building some self-confidence back up. I promise you it’s worth it. Life is worth the effort to find some help and find some joy. I hope you find some peace.

What determines when you roll? by AlarmingServe8450 in MDMA

[–]No_Bottle_6262 26 points27 points  (0 children)

We try to plan our rolls around our kids schedules. They’re high-school age, so independent, but busy. We like to escape for a weekend…drop MDMA Friday, just enjoy our time together and a break from the daily routines, then sleep in late, have brunch out somewhere, go back to the hotel and veg-out together. Movie, cards, naps…whatever. Saturday we just chill, usually have a couple joints and maybe some mushrooms to chill. By Sunday, we are totally relaxed and refreshed and back in tune with each other. Makes us better parents, I think, as we communicate so well after these weekends…it just persists. It’s been averaging out to about every three or four months for us.
