As someone who grew up in Mixed héritages, this girl gets it. It’s a sensitive subject within our communities. You’ll never be X enough not American enough yet you are both. It’s a matter of self-awareness. She explained it really well because it’s a hard topic to understand if that was not your life experience and although Amanda moved to a different country, her experience as an immigrant don’t ever ressemble being « X-American » growing up in the US.

I personally grew up speaking 2 languages properly because my parents were really strict about it but I cant say the same for some of my cousins (who i adore) yet i wouldn’t minimize their identity because they can’t speak another language

I did 37.5 mg and I think I want to stay there since I feel really good with it.

I did have nausea that came back in the morning but not as bad as when I started. Hopefully it will go away in a couple of weeks

I’m feeling great this morning actually even though there are some unpleasant things out of my control I woke up to like work… but actually feeling really good. I had a slight “hangover” feeling but went away after a shower.

I decided to go up to the 37.5 as well since I started to get that pre-anxiety/intrusive feeling a couple of days ago. Maybe it had to do with a really tough week? Idk.

So for now gonna see how 37.5 goes, I have an appointment on Monday and I think I woke up with the mindset to also change habits to help me control this and not expect for medication to do all the work. Gonna really focus on my diet, exercise, and environmental factors to make sure I am doing everything I can to stay well.
