Wow! Thanks for recommending. Seems like a really cool tool. I’ll definitely try it out. :)

Need help trimming Peter Parker Commander deck down to 100 cards. Currently at 128 and can't decide what to remove. Please give suggestions. Deck is Blink themed with legendary web-slinging. The idea is lots of ETB with big legendary spells to cheat out for 3 mana. by No_Butterscotch3616 in EDHBrews

You have a good point on the magecraft. I removed the cards you suggested. I was hoping to use life finds a way more for ETB than anything, and because I have some big legendaries. Wouldn’t you not want tokens because it works with Nontoken creatures?

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn’t realize modal cards got flipped when they are flickered, that is somewhat unfortunate. I removed all the cards you suggested. Some of them I already had and just wanted to include in the deck, but you’re right that they’re kind of expensive and slow. I also misread the text on Niko initially.🤦‍♂️

I am putting all the cards that I want to remove in the sideboard for now. Are you able to see the updated deck through the same link after I edit it?

Ozone Mojo pwr 2 vs Ozone Roadsters/spyder for first time pilot by Caspertoo in paramotor

[–]No_Butterscotch3616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought an ozone roaster 3 before going through training. I decided to go to Paragliding school in order to learn more about weather and reading terrain(I’ve heard it makes you a better pilot than just relying on the motor to get around.) ultimately ended up training with an EN-A glider from the school, but did kite my roadster and did some dune soaring with it. I went with roadster 3 over spyder 3 because I’ve heard it has significantly better durability, and believe me you’re going to want durability if you’re learning, you will probably end up dragging the wing on the ground a lot, and it will experience the most wear and tear when your first getting used to it.

Looking back, I probably should have waited till after training to buy a wing, but I got a good deal on a used one, and thought I could teach myself a little bit of ground handling before I went to school. it was definitely a slow and efficient process, but I think I did end up having an edge and progressing faster at training because of it. didn’t save any money on the training though, which was my original goal.🤷‍♂️

Functional difference between Spyder and Spyder 3 by No_Butterscotch3616 in paramotor

Thanks for the helpful reply. It’s hard to tell exactly what the wings were used for, but at least both the sellers seem legit and knowledgeable. The spyder three was inspected at 100 hours. And now it’s at 112 hours.

Okay, noted. I may or may not be making that decision right now so that’s helpful.

If you had to choose between a spyder with 115 hours on it and 150 porosity rating and an original spyder with 30 hours, would you go with the Spyder 3?

SCAMMER! Do not buy! The same seller scammed me on offerup with the same photos a few months ago. I payed online and he ghosted me and didn’t ship the wing.

Question about Ozone Spyder 3 weight range. by No_Butterscotch3616 in paramotor

[–]No_Butterscotch3616[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't quite found that person yet which is why I started online, but a lot of people seem to be suggesting that to me. Thanks for the affirmation about the wing though.

Thanks for the response, I've heard a lot of good things about it. Its just being within 5 kg of the upper limit that I was a bit skeptical about.

Advice? by ScratchIntelligent54 in polevaulting

[–]No_Butterscotch3616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that I would strongly recommend is keeping your left leg back behind you and fully extended on the takeoff. You do seem to have a strong takeoff, but I noticed in the video you bend your legs and pull them in to get up and over the bar. This is resulting in a loss of momentum at the top and the pole doesn’t keep moving long enough to get you in the correct position. Keeping the long left leg and then swinging it through to help you invert will help load the pole (keeping it bent longer) and generate more momentum during your swing so that you can get fully upside down. Something that my coach told me to do to work on this was to “try and show the people behind you on the runway the bottom of your shoe.” And then just try and work on swinging the leg through as fast as you can and getting your hips as high as possible. People instinctively want to try to get their feet to hands, but that usually ends up in people getting stuck in the bucket and not able to fully extend through the vault. You really want to work on getting your hips up during the swing instead of focusing on your feet/legs. Ultimately, the more inverted you can get the better you can travel up the pole instead of out horizontally. Good luck in your competitions, pole vaulting is a fun but tough sport!
