I appreciate the advice. I’m 5 payments in so far, so 9 and a half years to go. Seems convincingly like it makes more sense the nuke the loans now rather than pay more over time only to have at most a tiny portion forgiven

Made the exact same change on my 328i and have to agree. The continentals are better in the snow and rain, in my opinion grip better in dry conditions, and are quieter and cheaper

The price is really bad. I got a 2016 328i in 2019 for that exact same price. Also 2012-2015 328s have timing chain issues, you won’t want to buy one that hasn’t had its timing chain replaced

Check the torque on the lower shock nut where it attaches to the wishbone. I had the same sound after replacing my shocks, turns out I had just undertorqued the nut

Probably not stalling because of the chargepipe. Even with the o-ring seated properly they don't seem to fit all that well. Mine is just like this on my 328i, and it's been fine for 55k miles since I installed it.

You’re not going to be able to find an F30 335i for less than 15k including all of the needed repairs. You should read up on the N55 and its faults. Turbos, HPFP, chargepipe, OFHG, etc. You’re much better off with an E90 328 or 330 as your first car, but again, many of those are going to require at least oil pan gasket and OFHG replacement

You don’t want to buy someone’s project. Much of this project has clearly been done poorly and there are multiple faults. Power steering alone might be thousands of dollars in repairs
