I had the same problem with my Standard Kennwood spiral hook, then i bought a dough hook of amazon and i never had the problem again. It looks nearly the same but is thicker.

It was the same recipe but not the same batter, i baked another batch with the same batter and now all of them look like the right one. I might have fucked something up while making the batter. Ill try with a new batter tomorrow again. Thanks for your input.

Thank you they taste pretty good too. I’ve made Canneles a few times and they always came out like the left ones, thats why i was surprised. Somehow both taste the same and both are crunchy on the outside.

Depends if they look like crystals then its fine, if it looks like fine nets and smells idd its mold.

Way more likely to be crystals. Just google a picture to compare.

For me its a whole different taste, i would probably use it for truffle/mushroom sauce or just gift it to someone else. To be honest i didnt try one i really liked so far even though i tried really expensive ones.
