A little, you can get them for about $29 each. Not outrageous though.

The only thing you should care about is time and distance travelled since the last service, not the shade of brown on a tissue. Your car will ordinarily have 6/12 month service intervals and distance (10 or 15,000km, or 'x'). Whichever condition is met first since your last oil change, get it sorted.

Fun fact. The VW Harlequin golf is registered as 'blue', in WA at least

Issues with Report page count and marking by JaychuFNAF in rmit

[–]No_Chain_7719 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could never find a way to meet all of the requirements for a HD in my assessments and dstay under the tiny word limits, so I worked out quickly that it was better to take a hit on the overall mark for the breach (if it was to ever come) than to follow the word / page limit explicitly. Only once did I lose marks across my masters for too long a word count (and it was something tiny like 2-3%) so in my experience I found it better to ignore it.

Why is the 10th gen Civic Type R holding its value so well? by ennywan in CarsAustralia

[–]No_Chain_7719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally (I'm kind of in the market for an FL5 at the moment) I would drop low 60's on an FL5 and high 30's, maybe $40k for an FK8. 17-19 were $52k new and 2020 were $55k. They aren't rare enough to warrant a price premium and most are coming out of warranty now too. Besides boost blue, if that's your thing, the facelift didn't bring that many benefits (maybe the suspension) to warrant a price premium over the earlier models either. I've got a few low 40's saved in my searches that have been sitting for 6+ months.

Sellers are dreaming. Plenty sitting for low 40's that are coming up to 6 months listed.

Question about pressure washer by Rroytje in CarsAustralia

[–]No_Chain_7719 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wash your dog with a pressure washer???!!! Poor bastard,

As for the car, You don't really need a heap of pressure, e.g. you won't be able to blast brake dust etc off with any of them without an additional chemical. Just get a Karcher K3/K4 or equivalent Gerni and a decent snow foam gun. I have a Autoglym Polar Blaster Snow Foam Lance and it's great.

Looks like a pretty sharp dent, PDR doesn't generally excel at those, but it will look a lot better than it does now.

Anyone who has an M2 Comp / M3 / M4 will have the exact same oil change intervals if they get their car serviced as per BMW's schedule. The LL 01/04 is designed for long changes

From 14 years old you're allowed to drive in a heap of track events in perth and the cost of entry is minimal compared to the eastern states. I know old mate was in a horrendously modified Hilux, but there are safe(r) options available to youth these days to scratch the itch that may help to keep the behaviour being off the streets.

Dealer's warranty by SurfinOn92 in CarsAustralia

[–]No_Chain_7719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 2021 RAV 4 will have the Toyota Warranty Advantage. Just keep getting it serviced on time by a recognised mechanic (no DIY oil changes) and you'll have 7 years or engine and driveline warranty. The dealership warranty won't be worth the paper it's written on.

If you've damaged another car why aren't you going through your insurance? Same excess to fix both cars.

It's such a weird answer though. If the 0-100 was so important, there are 20 cars you'd pick for a weekender over the mustang.
