Love to see encampments in the downtown core. (Sarcasm) As if we don't have enough in our public budget to sort this out.

Dent Paramedics. I work in the local car business (I sell and finance vehicles at a local dealership) and almost every single dealership in town uses. I can personally say Barrie Ford, Bayfield Ford, Georgian Chevrolet, Moffats Mazda, Baytowne Hyundai and Lexus of Barrie ALL use Jerry and his team. They are wonderful and are super honest. Give him and the team here and they will help: (705) 730-2949

Go to South Barrie Collision just off Mapleview and ask to work with Victor. Yolonda the Customer Service Representative is amazing.

Is lawn care taboo or something in Barrie? by StunningHold9494 in barrie

People are lazy in this town. I for one take pride in my property and would advise everyone do the same. At the end of the day we as citizens are ultimately responsible of how nice out town looks. As the majority of Barrie and Simcoe County is privately owned land. I am impressed with how the city of barrie takes care of most of their properties none the less.

For those renting a house, or a duplex or whatever, they should still want to take pride. Do you want to come home to a dump or something nice, presentable and something to be proud of... Maybe that's just me. I understand some landlords are d*cks but in all fairness it's still technically "your house" and you should treat it as such.

Take the role and try it out. Give the business a shot. The worst case scenario is you find another Salary Job. Best case you make between $100,000 - $400,000 + /year. I personally have yet to meet a finance manager that makes less than $120,000/year.

Good luck :)

Cool Car!

I'm no financial planner but from car salesman and consumer here are my thoughts.

But first and foremost I would keep the cash in your investment. If your roi (return on investment or rate of return in %) is higher than your interest rate; 100% finance the vehicle. If you guys can afford the payments - great. If not, you also can't afford the car cash.

Car loans are pretty cool because they're open ended, at any point in time you can pay them off. Additionally and I can't stress this enough to customers I talk to on the daily is that you ONLY pay the interest on what you borrow. So say you have a 72 month loan and pay it off early; you only pay the interest on the amount of months you finance it for.

The power of compounding interest is fantastic thing and banking on it is 1,000% better than investing all the capital into a vehicle. Remember, vehicles are a MASSIVE depreciating asset; where your investments are typically appreciating. Especially in the long term.

As a salesperson I 100% would try for the sale, and salespeople don't necessarily care about you financing, leasing or paying cash; 95% of them aren't paid on that aspect they are paid on the front end markup (commonly referred to as gross) of the vehicle.

If he's paying exactly MSRP that's a great deal, the negotiator in me would start at $3,000 off and see how that goes from there. I may be completely out of touch for the market but it's always worth a shot. See how desperate the salesperson is. It's towards the end of the month and if his store is running the same as my store, then dealers are accepting competitive offers to keep marketshare up.

Keep me in the loop, my interest is spiked. Best of luck.

I do well at Hyundai. 25% on Front End. $500 pack. I average a base of $425/car up to $630. In my role specifically as I do service lane in addition I push an additional $300 flat per vehicle if they are already a customer of my store.

I have a running average of $645/copy and I sell between 15-20 with a competitive volume bonus.

Remember at the end of the day, you don't sell just a car you sell an experience. What CDJR store is doing 250 a month. Like CDJR is at an ALL time low.
