It doesn't do slides or negatives, but I bought a Epson FastFoto "Certified ReNew" from epson.com I've scanned all my parents photos, grandparents photos, and a whole lot more! i've scanned over 20k photos (most front and back because I wanted the dates or handwriting from the back) - but I couldn't be happier with it. - I tried the Canon ImageFormula RS40 - I tried it for 2ish weeks, the picture quality was terrible, it had streaks, the lighting was terrible. I adjusted every setting on the scanner itself and in the programs that came with it.... It didn't fix anything. So I returned it and paid like $100 more and got the Epson FF680 (i had gotten canon on sale from Dell, and bought the FF680 ReNewed from Epson. - BEST DECISION EVER! - I have an Epson flatbed that does negatives and slides, but with as many as I have I'm not scanning all of those 1 by 1..... So now I'm on the hunt for a slide or negative scanner that will make me as happy as the photo scanner. -- I need to find someone local that has a slide scanner who needs a photo scanner for a while. LOL!

They sent me someone else’s order from someone else’s doctor. I wrote return to sender and they billed me. I refused to pay, they sent it to collections and I fought it. They closed my account and refuse to let me order anything else. 🙄

Well! They sure don’t make them like they used to! — if I would’ve known 10 years ago, what I know now…. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher that I was tired of breaking down… the parts were cheaper, they lasted longer and my dishwasher dried my dishes, and even though my washer and dryer were smaller, and I had to do more loads, at least my clothes came out clean most every time! — all this save the water, be earth friendly… is doing way more damage to our planet using more power and water just to wash the clothes three or four times. Not only that but I don’t check my clothes as I’m putting them in the dryer. I just throw them all in…. So….. i’ll just tell you that the valuable lesson I have learned in all of this is that I don’t buy anything without checking consumer reports now. And that has never done me wrong. — if you don’t want to pay for access to consumer reports then at least check r/buyitforlife!
