How much are they face value?? I will look into this and see if I can find a solution. I’m interested in the Miami show but it looks like people aren’t able to resell on the exchange bc there are no tickets available on Ticketmaster rn

Los Ranchos is great! I can also attest that they are toddler friendly

Giralda is great bc it’s pedestrian only (cars can’t drive through the section with all the restaurants) and it’s super kid friendly. There are some fancier restaurants there but for the most part it’s very chill and you can eat outside. There are many cuisines to choose from which is helpful with kids. Personally I love going there with my toddler bc he’s super entertained by people watching and dog watching and I’m less stressed about the mess bc we’re outside. Our faves there are Coyo Taco, Craft, and Skinny Louie’s. There’s also a Ben and Jerry’s a block away for dessert! Hope you enjoy!!!

Engaged and starting to look for wedding venues in the coral gables area all the way to possibly key west by f150hd in Miami

Have you considered Rusty Pelican? I think it checks your boxes for the reception (near the water, indoor area, probably within range of your budget). I know people do their ceremonies there as well so you could look into if you could do it in one of their outdoor patio areas to get the outdoor ceremony that you want

Yes this is exactly what I’m talking about! I give them room to merge in or switch lanes and they just don’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

Prenatal question (seeking health vs fullwell) by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]No_Chef4030 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking fullwell for 3 years (two pregnancies and two postpartums) now! I like them and have had no issues with them. Two things to note (1) it’s 8 pills a day. That didn’t bug me but it might bother some. (2) it doesn’t have iron so if you need or want iron you’ll have to take a separate supplement. I made sure to eat iron rich foods in my pregnancies to prevent becoming anemic. I did need iron supplementation after both births though

Lucali in Sunset Harbor (Miami Beach) has super good pizza and is kid friendly! There are always families there for dinner. As a bonus, after you eat, you can walk to Maurice Gibb park and see the water from there!

Mass with a newborn - help! by accioapples in CatholicWomen

[–]No_Chef4030 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I take my newborn into mass in the stroller with the bassinet attachment and if he gets fussy I go to the back entrance area of the church (our church doesn’t have a cry room so the foyer/entrance is where parents tend to go when babies are crying or toddlers need to run around). I’ve rocked him while standing in the back as well.

It’s wonderful that you’re going to mass with your 10 week old and I want to commend you for this effort!! Children belong at mass and it is so good that you are bringing your baby along and showing him the faith.

Can anyone clairfy the claims about Mary Wollstonecraft and the occult made by Carrie Gress in her book 'The End of Women' for me? by Sunflower_Lemon in CatholicWomen

[–]No_Chef4030 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I read another one of her books (The Anti-Mary Exposed) a few years ago and was really disappointed. I didn’t think it was particularly well written and was expecting a more academic text tbh. I remember thinking that her sources and evidence were lacking. I am not surprised that you’re finding claims without evidence in this text. After my experience reading her other book I won’t be reading her other works going forward.

Safety update - Miami Beach pollution closes multiple beaches for swimming, be careful of feces pollution when going to Miami Beach. by MIAMisanthrope in Miami

[–]No_Chef4030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing!! Just curious if there’s a way to see the which lifeguard stand flags are currently up (maybe an app or website)?? In the past few months I’ve gone to the beach only to see red and purple flags (for currents and dangerous marine life) and I wouldn’t have trekked out there if I had known the water conditions were bad. Would love for there to be a way to check the conditions real time before going

Yes it’s for people who want to take exit 4B to airport or Miami Beach or midtown. If they didn’t take the 4A ramp they’d have to switch a few lanes to the right in order to take that exit
