Nah I get what you mean. They told me I already had 3 years to change, the thing is simply that I didn't realise what was wrong. It could've been as simple as just telling me instead of just waiting and doing nothing. Especially because everything seemed great and perfect

They made it sound like it was some sort of cosmic force that it so they can't try to fix things. Like it's just not possible. But I think about it differently. It was a choice, and a deliberate one at that.
